When my wife travels I ask her to do the same. Her conditions are she's not going to a brewery and as long as her drive is relatively short. So if she only goes to a bottle shop I'd say look and see if there's anything you like from The Bruery, any IPA's of interest from El Segundo, whatever bottles from Modern Times, Hop Concept (Lost Abbey IPA series) Tropical & Juicy, Stone will have 2015 Southern Charred out and Double Bastard in the Rye next week, see if anything from Acoustic sounds interesting, I like Karl Strauss Peanut Butter Cup (probably in the minority), AleSmith Evil Dead Red, and one of Council's Beatitude. Heck, if she's willing to drive AleSmith still has their BBA Decadence and Brandy BA Old Numbskull up for sale on brownpapertickets and you can start picking up Oct 24th if she's around.
