I liked Dark Intrigue, especially the first years bottling.

That being said, the BB aged stouts have jumped the shark in my opinion.

I truthfully hope they nail this one and put out something awesome. I have supported Victory since the day they opened their doors, live 10 minutes away, and applaud them for $9 growler fills - which is by far the lowest price out of the other local brew pubs (and much better beer). But damn, it they could just get a stout out the door such as a Surly Darkness of even Abyss, I would be ecstatic.

I do like a storm king on nitro every now and then

    From Victory's Facebook page today:
So brewed with coffee beans, barrel aged, and then conditioned with even more coffee? Yes please.

Never had a barrel aged anything besides a pear cider aged in reprosado tequila barrels (was awful)

If i see this ill pick it up because its Victory.

I'd love to try it. Here's to hoping Victory makes enough of it that it doesn't sell out instantly in one day in all of its markets... (Like Lagunitas' Westified and Weyerbacher's Sunday Morning)

It's getting released on Nov 24th...so it won't sell out on the first day...but it will sell out fast. I can tell you right now that it's looking awesome. Smelled amazing when it was transferred to the coffee beans earlier this month. It's going to be somewhere between 12-14% though so I don't know what that means for the Ohio market?

I'd like to grab a few of these. One to drink now. One to let chill for a year or two. And one to share with some friends around the holidays or something like that.

Victory is one of those breweries that makes a lot of beers. But they are all good. Normally this does not work. Like when a restaurant has too many things on the menu and you know that they cannot possibly be good at all of them.

I can't wait (like how Bart Scott said it) for this to drop.
