Has anyone heard rumors of BCBS hitting Denver this year? I know last year it was about a week after the Chicago Black Friday release. Do any beer stores do official releases or have sign up lists/lotteries? I bought it at Applejack last year, but it was just a walk-in and ask for it type of deal.

Any that you wouldn't mind mentioning? Also, any in Littleton you know of that sell BCBS each year? Sorry, just move here from Chicago a little over a year ago and not sure how to set myself up for success here yet!

I didn't go hunting but obvious ones are Mr B's, Argonauts, Mile High, Small Batch and Grapevine. I think Lukas and Davidson in the South also did.

Don't go that far South buying beer so I'll leave the Littleton area recommendations for others

Honestly, those aren't the best ones. The best places are the ones that sell a shit ton of AB-Inbev Product. It's my understanding that they gave first pick to their biggest clients. I don't think Mile High received any last year.

I'm sure there are other stores that get it I was just posting the obvious ones I know got it last year but just threw Mile High in since they always get the good stuff. I was also going by Denver stores since I don't travel out of the area (and rarely to most of those stores) to hunt down beers.

Davidson's had one of the largest allocations last year, from my understanding. While a great craft beer store, Davidson's also caters to the BMC crowd. Win-win, IMO.

Lukas had a good amount last year. Others are correct in saying Mile High didn't get any if I remember correctly. I always head to Philly for Thanksgiving, and the picking seems to be easier.

Tipsy's may be worth checking as they are in Littleton and also cater to BMC and craft like @ssteigerwald mentioned.

We actually don't work with a the Budweiser distributor, so we don't carry anything Bud owned. Unfortunately that means no BCBS for us.

Sorry, but which store are you referring to when you say "we"? I see your user name is Clay Station but not sure if that is the store name?

I'm anxious to see if any variants come our way this year. Last year we got shut out on Vanilla and Coffee (until 6 months later the Coffee dropped out the blue). I know Regal Rye and Coffee are listed as having national distribution, and it even seems like a few cases of Rare will hit most states, but skeptical that we won't get shut out again. Not that being held to only BCBS and BCBBW is hard living, but always looking to try a variant or two each year.

If memory serves, we typically get a decent read on what will hit CO by mid November. That sound right to anybody?

Man, I just read about the random May release of BCBCS! That is way different than Chicago. Once it's gone in November, it's GONE. This year will be different with the 16oz bottles and all sold individually.
