Great! Maybe my next thread will ask where the nearest Fred Meyer is!

I'm a fan of Interurban on Mississippi. Good food, decent patio, cool NW vibe interior, solid tap list.

Downtown, I like Kelly's Olympian. Dive-y rocker bar. Old school. You probably won't find anything unusual, but a solid tap list there too.

I'm also a sucker for Roadside Attraction on SE 12th. Funky and eclectic. Cool outdoor space with a nice fire pit. I've seen Upright and (non-sour) Cascade beers there. Tap list probably won't blow your mind though.

Sometimes you can walk into a place like Total Wines & More and buy a 64oz growler of Deschutes Mirror Mirror Barleywine for $20. Considering 22oz bottles retail for close to the same price, it's worth checking the growler fills at these places from time to time.

Definitely a good suggestion. I just walked into Hollywood Liquor here in Portland (already a great liquor store with a respectable beer selection) and picked up a growler fill of Hop Venom for $10.99. Plus a dollar off if you have their growler.

Solera near Hood River has one of the best Cherry Sours I've ever had... and it has to be a top ten view for a brewery.

Probably top 3 honestly. That place is amazing. Got a growler of Barley Brown IPA last time I was there for $11.
