2 hearted is same $ as best brown cans. I really don't like 2 hearted. One can is ok next is bad tap is good then it's bad. Not worth it as I don't love it. Wish Jave stout was not $60+ a case

    Enjoy

Let's see, Expedition, Third coast old ale, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, 30th Anniversary, Two Hearted, Oberon, Best brown, Hopslam. I'd say keep producing great beer at decent prices. Thanks for the six pack format rather than the bend over four pack and bombers! Cheers to Bells!

I just downed a 30th anniversary stout, and it was amazing. Bell's makes a few great brews, some so/so and a few turds. I just try 'em all and repeat buy the great ones. Fine by me.

All this blasphemy against Bells Amber. Thats one of my desert island beers that i'll always go for another round of.

Bell's is part of the old guard. Stouts are their strong point, and probably always will be. The 30th Ale was a reminder of what started me down the craft beer path in the first place.

    Their beers definitely lack Inovation

You could say the same thing about Weihenstephaner or Ayinger, no? But no one is going to give them any shit for it. Innovation is important, but not every brewery has to be brewing with peanut butter and bacon or aging things in any type of barrel they can get their hands on. It's also important to have well-crafted traditional versions of traditional styles and Bell's is excellent in that regard. Which isn't to say that they can't be innovative if/when they want to...

That person lives in NC so it's likely a cheap/childish potshot at Bells about the Innovation kerfuffle (at least I assume so despite the spelling)

Thanks... I had no idea. After reading a little bit about it, it seems like Bell's were being pretty big dicks.

It would seem that way by reading the BA thread....essentially NC rallied around Innovative despite many of them having never heard of Innovative nor tried any of their beer.

Innovative's side is Bells is huge & a bunch of bullies making us change our name for no reason so we're calling the press to get the word out and making a huge deal of it in social media.

Bells side is that they have a trademark that needs to be enforced or they lose it and innovation is part of a slogan that they've used long before Innovation was thought of. After offering money and ways to resolve it without having Innovative change their name (and offering to help pay for name change costs if they chose that route) they declined Innovative's 100k+ settlement offer & were forced to use the legal system

The best thin bells does is they don't screw people with bombers! Please don't speak such horrible awful terrible things!

Or BETTER!!!! They could change all their beers to third coast and then the style. If consumers are confused with something simple, troll them and make fun of them more! Though perhaps thats just me...

At this point, after seeing many of these disputes hit the media, I have zero respect for anyone who uses pitchfork nation to bully anyone else. It is an even more reprehensible tactic (IMO), (and it clearly nothing BUT bullying) than using the well-established trademark dispute resolution system, which many here seem to think is bullying (it can be, but most of the time it seems to me that it isn't).

If there isn't anyone trying to raise awareness, then awareness wouldnt be raised. Cheers to Innovation!!! I still stand behind my initial comment, bells beer truly has lacked Innovation and hasn't kept up with the evolution of craft beer.

Instead of " retooling" why don't you try drinking beer from other brewerys? Variety is nothing new unless you try it.

I hope Bell's execs have read this thread and erupted in laughter.

News flash BA: You are very small percentage of the craft beer population. Just because you can't get excited about anything that isn't 500 bottle count or less, standing in line for a minimum of 6 hours, huge ABV's, 5,000 lbs of hops per 5 gallon batch, soured in oak bourbon whiskey chardonnay barrels for 37 years and then blessed by the Pope, doesn't mean a company doesn't make quality beer. It just means you take beer way too seriously.

I have a feeling if most BA's got their way, Bell's entire lineup would consist of hopped to hell IPAs and bourbon barrel stouts. You're not who they're marketing to.

Given a lot of breweries doing revamped beers to increase hops or use "modern" hops, I'm not sure what you're saying is that true. That said if it isn't selling, they'd do something. If it is they won't. Not all that complex...

Bell's variety is solid and usually not too far out within the spectrum of the style. I wouldn't change a thing personally.
