Well I have enough to send to you and @Bristopher89 for the cost of a label! Also remember I'm old and stubborn and "taking freebies" is called beer KARMA!! Enjoy.............every time (well almost) that @JNForsyth comes over..........I try to force him to "take freebies". I am in the Mechanicsburg Area........10 minutes from Pizza boy.
Are you doing sign-ups in general or for just this round? I'd like to participate but not until a later trip due to other boxes I'm trying to get taken care of. This is a no brain-er for me due to my proximity to Pizza Boy and their 100+ beers on tap for growler fill.
The light sources don't need to just be speed lights. Even a high powered flashlight could provide some rim light. I'll have a bit of time this weekend, so I may play a bit as well for a VBS share pick or two. Would be interested in seeing what you do with a black background!
I'd assume that this is like any other traveling box - signups are for this round only. I'm in the same boat - too many boxes just shipped / will be shipped shortly, so I'm being smart and holding off on the GIF / CIF for this round.
@Greeny87 We'll have to make sure your notified next time we have a get together, there's a group of really awesome BA's in the Harrisburg/York/Lancaster area. Although for @Mipper's get together there were a few that came in from Philly/NJ, one from VA, and one from St. Louis even.
Had I been driving myself I'd have dragged you along, but it felt a little presumptuous to not only invite you to the share but also invite you to share my ride... Don't worry though, there will be another one before you know it!
lol...the "man cave" is actually just my apt living room. We're looking at buying a house at the turn of the year and this one house in particular already has a nice ass "tv room" which has a lot of potential for a sick man cave. But yes, more light is required.
I was getting sign ups for my box that will be going out. Each round the recipiant will open up to a new group.
Right, but you weren't the driver whose car space I'd have been speaking for, and it was the combination of both presumptions. Besides, I didn't know until the 11th hour that I could go at all. Next time though....
It's killing me not to be going. Made my way up there in June and it went smoothly, compared to what my brother said about the April release. Hope it goes well!
Sounds like one hell of potential haul. wish I could. Still have not had a Bissell Brothers beer yet.
@ohyeahitsmuff Blue Dog begins at 11:00. Has bcbs, vanilla rye, numerous HF including double Galaxy and S&S 5, several russian rivers, cantillion bottles at 1:00, and a whole slew of other stuff.
I'm all pre traded out but Im going with 3 friends who all intend on grabbing cases and some swish. If Tired Hands is in your wheelhouse I'm sure one of them would be interested in working something out. If you can't land any otherwise. Maple faystons, 2 Aurelian lures, and a 15' abraxas all coming my way.
Some pre-pr0n. Wax is in for my RIS bottles. Little collab I did with my friend who brews for Clown Shoes - by which I mean I wrote the recipe and he provided pints off the bright tank. First bottles I'm labeling / waxing, that happy with how it came out. 12.7% things a beast
I was all set to make the short(er) trip for Mott (only 1-hr drive vs. 2-hr for Portland) but then they said 2pp limit and my heart sank. Last release was 1-case pp iirc. Then the gf told me we were having a date night and that was that... no beer travels for me this weekend. Anyways, Maine (the state, and the brewery) are going to be beer shitshows. Everyone and their mother (or other mule) will be up there for the 5+ releases and festivities. Have fun!
