Possible bad trade: TrojanHopHead

Always surprised to see someone with 100% trade score show up in these BT threads but it seems to be happening more and more often. And I notice in his feedback someone mentioned there was a casualty in the box also, so seems he is more of a bad packer than a bad trader (although the 2 end up going hand in hand).

And what was his method of shipping? Is this normal for the whole package to be seized and destroyed when something in there breaks? Never heard of that myself.

 

From what I can tell, the outcome of a broken bottle in a box is somewhat random. The biggest factor is probably the mood of the UPS/FedEx associate who finds the broken bottle, but it also might depend on time of day, phase of the moon and number of days until the next equinox. I've heard of entire boxes being seized, but I've also heard of boxes being repacked without the broken bottle and sent on their merry way. Luckily neither has ever happened to me.

And while being a bad packer might have been the initial issue, it's the piss poor attempt to make it right, and now the radio silence that pushes this into bad trader category.

It's a little sad, as I think most people are fairly understanding of broken bottles/seized boxes, as @beluga92 seems to have been. Especially when the bottles being exchanged aren't "walez". Of course, that understanding only extends to the point that the other person doesn't flake out and basically say "fuck it" at some point. That certainly seems to be the route @TrojanHopHead is going and he's running out of time to make this right...

I can't understand how people an be tagged in a bad trader thread, be online and not show up in here to tell their side of the story.

His girlfriend broke up with him, he moved, he's been busy--(after all he is working 3 jobs!), lost his cell phone, and then lost his wallet.

Is there any possibility that he is not aware of this thread? Blows my mind someone is called out like this, continues to peruse site and ignores a thread like this. Going to be nighty night for @TrojanHopHead very soon.

 

Considering that he @TrojanHopHead has ignored the OP's messages with no responses or replaced the beer that was owed on original agreement....why would he respond to being *tagged*? (sarcasm, but probably the truth).
