Glad(?) we got to Maine Beer when we did, Dinner was sold out by 9:30. Can't believe the first person got their at 8:30 last night, we showed up at 5am and got out a half hour after them
I wish you started with the Unfiltered Pilsner Urquell... so much more of a once-in-a-lifetime beer and now your palate will be shot!
Due to the biblical flood levels of rain hitting Austin today all the beer events got postponed into November. This means I have a day off that I have no reason to leave the house for. My girlfriend and I have decided it's a great day for cooking pot roast, drinking some beers, and playing some board games. Expect some #VBS later in the day. SPEAKING OF BOARD GAMES: My lady and I are avid boardgamers, and long before I was keeping track of ticks of beers on this site I was using a different site to help keep track of my board game collection. I've actually done more traveling for board game conventions and the like that I have for beer (Though weekly trips to Jester King might tip the balance if you count those). My LIF will be very simple. How many board games are in my collection RIGHT NOW? I'll leave this open until Tuesday October 27th at Midnight.
Sounds similar to the Beatification release in 2013. The kicker was that most of the people came unprepared for the temps.
First beer of the day. The game is Castles of Burgundy. One of our favorites. Saturn is drinking really nicely. Massive toffee and caramel and a hit of faded hoppiness to finish off the taste. Not sure if any of you guys know/have traded with @dannyfayy but I have really enjoyed a lot of beers he has sent me over our trades.
Off to a big bottle share (list below). 10 people bringing 30+ beers altogether. Avenge death if I'm not back to post the graveyard shot.
Holy shit man. Awesome share. I'm stupid-level jealous of that 5-year group of Fou Foune... shame there's no 2011
