A heavily spiced Wit like Allagash White for example is my favorite.

As we all know, so many new beers and old beers come out all the time. Pick one beer that you're looking forward to in the Winter months, that hasn't released yet, as of this thread.

Not a "winter release" since it debuts this Thursday but looking forward to Kelsen Brewing's Vendel.

The Abyss, especially since there's a place near me that's doing a 2012-2015 vertical tasting.

Technically not winter, but Mother of All Storms releases here in a few weeks. One of my all time favorites.

I don't know about where you are, but I can sill find last year's bottles. Just bought and drank a 2014 a couple of weeks ago; great stuff.

I look forward to the special releases, but winter also calls for occasions to drink multiple beers. In terms of general sessionable seasonals, I look forward to Anchor, Our Special Ale - both the beer and whichever tree they choose to feature on the label. Some years are better than others, but nonetheless a brew I annually look forward to drinking once it's winter. I also have a soft spot for NB Frambozen. A staple of my winter drinking regime for many years, always a solid selection.

Just had an 09, it was really nice.

Had no idea about the Maple DN, sounds awesome, is that in bottle format or draft only?

Originally from Los Angeles, moved to Baja Mexico, then lived in San Diego for the last 5 years, now in Nevada, can't comment on what a 'real winter' might be like, but when it does get cold(it does get cold in these places no less), is good to have Ten Fidy, St. Bernardus Christmas Ale, Old Ruffian and Solstice D'hiver. Last year, I had a good amount of Xocovezas, that was probably the best. Cheers!
