What beer are you drinking now? #1100

Haven't been on in a looooooong time and saw a message that folks wondered where I had gone, figured I would post. Haven't been too active in the beer scene lately, except for a few bottle shares a little while ago. I still come on here from time to time and read though, maybe get back into it, now that we have some interesting stuff coming out locally. While we have plenty of stuff here to trade, don't know if anyone would be interested in trading with someone in HI. I need some ba stouts and fresh IPAs!

Had this Nelson on Thursday, my favorite Alpine since GF took 'em over;


Smoked a bourbon and molasses brined pork loin and some brats yesterday.


Also made a Coffee BBQ Sauce with locally grown/roasted coffee, based off of Franklin's Espresso BBQ Sauce. My first attempt at making a sauce, turned out really well!

BOMB is great. I would trade it for BCBS if I could though, half the price & better. Still, just a problem of an old fart that has not much else to bitch about

 

This makes me want to open a bottle of BCBS

But can you switch out the battery ?
I need a new phone. I would get the new Note but I love being able to switch out batteries. You can't do that on any of the new phones

I'm personally checking out the HTC One A9 as a budget buy for me. As much fun as I've had with the 2014 Moto X (my first smartphone since having a Casio Gz One flip phone for a long time) I am noticing its flaws and limits. Next month I might upgrade....

Finished the Dale's PA in hot tub & enjoyed the 98% almost full moon.
Ending on a Stillwater projector/ready made. I save these for when my senses are Fecked, as this was a not so good beer. Kalbi, Kimchi & rice was stellar, my wife disagreed & said I made the rice, too mushy. My oldest, who is the rice eating machine, disagreed, so I am declaring myself the winner, despite the split jury I think she know that means she makes the rice ( mind you this is in rice cooker ) next time.
