Saw the other day on steadyhabits instagram that they will be doing a collab with kent falls! Is anyone else besides me really excited for this? Both breweries are putting out some of the best beers in the state! Gonna be interesting to see what they brew and If it will be bottled or growler fills...Can't wait!

I completely agree with you. I immediately get their beers on tap whenever they are pouring nearby. Definitely part of my top 5 CT list for breweries.

Wonder if it will be something like their current Equinox Saison. Kent Falls is known for their farmhouse ales (along with a couple killer goses) and Steady Habit is doing some fantastic hoppy stuff, so I hear (I'm not too familiar with their portfolio). Hopefully it will be something like or hoppy farmhouse or be something entirely new for both.

Kent Falls has been putting out some awesome IPAs also. IMO better than their farmhouses and goses.

And Steady Habit is doing some great hoppy stuff. No idea where this collab is going, but I am intrigued.

Totally intrigued as well. I have enjoyed Kent Falls very much since they came on the scene and John at Steady Habit is an exception brewer. His beers are wonderfully crafted and have exceptional flavor. I can't want to see what these two come up with!

Haven't really had any of their IPAs (except for way maker and Juicemaker), but I think it would be pretty hard to beat the farmhouse stuff

I believe they sell their beers at a farmers market, also some package stores (m&r in avon) had some bottles last time I was in

They're not open to the public yet, planning to do so in March I think. You can buy bottles at various liquor stores. They just released Alternate World in bottles so maybe go to beermenus.com and see if it's listed there. And here's a list on their website of what stores had their last release, so you could check those.

Brewey not open. Where are you. Plenty of places in Hartford county have bottles. And all over on tap.

I'm central CT. I've noticed their stuff popping up, but have yet to try them. I was just wondering if they had a tasting room. Glad to support another CT brewery!

Pretty excited about this. I have really enjoyed everything i have tried from both of these breweries. But, i just opened a field beer with rye, batch 6 i think, and it was very under cardbed. On the other hand I was pretty impressed with table 2 considering how new this brewery is.

I have gotten them at Harvest, Harvest Country, Max Bev in WeHa, and Willowbrook in Cromwell. If you need some help getting some, I have a few bottles. Well worth the effort to get the farmhouse stuff.

Haven't opened my bottle of rye. Maybe will let it sit a bit to see if bottle will condition a little more.

Kent Falls makes it to Ridgefield in bottles, as well. That's the furthest southwest I have seen it in bottles. Have seen it on tap all the way down in Stamford.

the IPAs really are on par if not better than the saisons. i crave kent falls awkward hug (just look at it!). as clean and flawless and refreshing and bright/tropical/tangerine as it looks, it tastes that way *moreso*. were they to can that beer, i would hire someone to buy and deliver it to me in NYC on a weekly basis.

@Pahn I can't agree with you more, the saisons are good but their ipas are awesome!

Yeah, that this was *any* brewery's first IPA is amazing. I know the head brewer is a longtime homebrewer, but there's a difference between whipping up some IPA in your kitchen and translating such a recipe to a professional system and getting kegs of it out to bars.

Yeah I've read his blog in bits and pieces. The hilarious one about 75 steps to being a commerical brewer (or something like that) is positively hilarious and extremely insightful. These guys know their stuff. I always pick up their stuff or buy a pint in a bar when I see it.

Just had the Alternate World. Wow, what a great Gose! Got a bottle of Table 2 that I'm looking forward to try.
