12 Days of XMAS BIF

12 Days of Christmas BIF

Time to start this up! First, a very special thank you to @bevoduz for the idea and first running of the BIF, we wouldn’t be doing this if it hadn’t been for you. Merry Christmas Chad!.

So what are we doing? Wrapping beer, sending beer, opening beer, drinking beer, and posting pictures. Bam, that’s it.

For those that didn’t get that, the jist of this bif is quite simple, you stalk your target for a while, figure out what they want, enjoy, can't get, etc. What makes this BIF unique is each shipper will be providing their target with 12 individually wrapped bottles, cans, packages, etc... Each of these packages will be tagged with the order or date of which they should be opened. Starting on December 25th (the 1st of the 12 days of Christmas). Each target will open the designated package for that day, take a photo, post some ****, and drink the beer too!

It's up to the shipper to decide which beers should be opened when, and remember this is a task that shouldn't be taken lightly. Should the target open the best first for the 25th, maybe last to celebrate surviving the BIF, or something in between? It is all up to you. A couple holidays are included (Christmas, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day), so plan accordingly. The intent is to send quality beer and for it to be consumed.

This BIF is not for the light hearted and uninitiated. Only folks that have participated in big BIFs should expect to participate (other 12 Days events, Stouts BIFs, etc). No Max on numbers of participants.

Here are the details:

• Provide me via message the following information (title the message xmas bif so I can easily reference it.
  • Name and shipping address
    
  • Any Do Not Ship dates (ie you’ll be out of town)
    
  • Shirt Size
    
  • Untappd Username
• Wish List - (you can send later so you have time to think about it) this is your beer geek list to santa, giving them a bit more to go by than just your wants. Feel free to include specific beers, styles you love, styles you don't like, breweries, etc...

Specifics for our Santa Shipper’s

• Minimum of 12 beer gifts (single bottle, couple small ones, side-by-sides, etc), each individually wrapped in some way to ensure it's contents cannot be identified and clearly marked when it should be opened (either sequentially or the open date is fine)
  
• Not limiting it to a specific BA rating level, send good beer (remember the not for those light hearted)
  
• Utilize the Wish List, as well as your targets wants, and at least try to get them beers they can't buy locally (seekabrew.com)
  
• Include some type of beer related gift. Shirt, glassware, etc.
  
• Your package should arrive to your target no later than the week of December 15th, in case your target is traveling for the holidays (travel plans will be noted when you get your target if available
