How much do you drink in one sitting?

Pretty sure slamming a sixer of most beers in all states makes you legally drunk, but yeah, I'm about on the same level as you. I think you will get a lot of 'lightweight' answers to this question. Most BA's either don't drink very much at all or flat out lie about their consumption. Either way, CHEERS!

 

I can only handle half of what you can I could probably keep going if I am drinking with friends. Same abv as well.

 

I usually drink 2 at a time but could do more. As far as what abv I'm looking for, I really don't have any hard and fast rules. But I do enjoy a variety of different beers and appreciate a higher abv now and then.

Usually just one (12oz) a day or every two days. Around 4-7% ABV. Just to control my beer crave.

 

I probably average 2 beers and a whiskey nightcap. Could be more (usually when I'm with people) or could be less. My goal isn't generally to be drunk at the end of the night though it does happen on occasion (one of those stand up and sway moments)

 

2 pints @ 7% is my limit. I usually have to drive 12 miles home from my favorite brewery taproom anyway. I can't overdo it because before bedtime the whisky (no, I didn't spell it wrong) comes out.

 

Depends on the night of the week and if I'm out with my married friends or single friends. On an average night at home I'll have a sipper, a 12 oz or 22 oz, depends on which beer. ABV is usually 9% or above. If I'm out with a married friend I'll usually split a couple pitchers of whatever dark beer is on tap over a few hours while playing pool. If it's a single friend all bets are off. I'll start on tap beer to warm up and inevitably will finish the night with mixed drinks and shots. Usually those nights are followed by mornings where, with a throbbing brain, I hesitantly open my wallet and look for receipts or log on to my banking app to check the damage.

Did you ever finish a 12 oz beer and think where is the rest of my beer? I honestly think a pint is one beer. I have two every day any style. I have been known to drink a lot more like on holidays, special occaasions and sometimes just the odd bender. If I am drinking over a long day like thanksgiving where I am up cooking all day then my actual bottle count could be as high as 7 or 8. Mostly lagers and lower abv of course.

 

I only drink as much as I want

 

Its usually 2-4 depending on abv. This includes bombers.

When i have off the next day it could be up to 6.

But depends on a "sitting" it'll take me 4-6 hours to drink 6 beers.

 

I drink a lot of beer, so I've made up some rules for myself:
Two beers (or one 750) on weeknights
Four to six on weekends
No alcohol when on call
Works for me

I don't make rules for drinking. When I tried that I only broke them, then felt guilty. Seemed silly, so, I drink when I feel like it until I'm done. So to answer your question, I drink anywhere from 1 to too many, depends on the situation.

 

It could be one; but usually one to five new beers a day...cheers!
