Nice spice bite with a touch of sweetness. Assertive carbonation with a semi dry finish.

OK the red beans and rice came out great. We were doing this dish speicifically to try with this beer and we think it was a successful recipe and pairing.

    That's one a 'dese ^

The Genesee Cream Ale is the perfect beer to wash down this relatively spicy dish. It has a good clean finish and the beer goes down perfectly with just a hint of malt to glide along side those spices . Leaves the palate open to the next bite, gives a complimentary flavor from dms to the richness overall and goes down lightly in the mouthfeel.

    Cheers and bon apetit!

I almost hate loving a beer this much. Every damn time...so damn good. Pitch perfect oak character, zero astringency, just toasty, light vanilla, woody funky goodness. Cornucopia of fruit overtones slip through. Dear God I love this.

Oktoberfest in cans?! Friggin' brilliant. Man, what I'd give to be drinkin' an Ofest straight out of a tent in Munich right about now.

Lovely brew. Every time I try to go to BA to rate it I get a message from McAfee telling me the page is not safe. I notice that this happens with some other beers too (but not for most).

    Good day BA citizens!!
Time for lunch and a beer of course!
Some chicken & prosciutto tortellini and cheese ravioletti salad I made with the other night paired with some left over garlic knots from a new pizza joint we tried the other night, they're more like dinner rolls than traditional garlic knots if you ask me! Cut 'em in 1/2 and drizzled some olive oil and sprinkled some parmesan and oregano on top and heated them up in the toaster oven...PERFECT!

Just heard a great Pink Floyd work force block on 93.3 WMMR!

    Cheers!!
