As long as the ticket is not VIP, no problem. Emailed Sarah at Imbibe yesterday with the same question.

 

Got an email on Oct. 13 asking me to let them know which training session I would be attending. Looks like I volunteer on Friday and get a free ticket for Saturday.

 

Thats the one I was hoping for lol. Oh well. Im friday night ticket and saturday working. Set in the info for training and now waiting again.

 

This is my first FOBAB, so I was wondering what the allotted amount of drink tickets there were in the past.

 

I think we got 15 last year. I think I used 8?

 

15 tickets each in 2014, and it's 20 this year. Gonna be fun!

 

Thanks for the quick replies. I'm going to the Friday and Sat Afternoon sessions so it should definitely be fun.

 

When does the beer list get posted?

 

First session, when someone is bored in line and takes pictures of the book.

 

Since it's also a competition, the beer list doesn't get posted until the event starts. Breweries are actually supposedly actively discouraged from telling people what they're bringing too.

That is awesome, can someone in the Friday session post that for this year. I am in Saturday session and would love to have a more detail oriented plan of attack I wandered aimlessly last year

 

I have the option for either Friday night or Saturday night. Which one should I go to if I can only attend 1?

Last year i posted pics of the beers after i went, ill prob do the same if someone hasn't yet this year.

 

Do beers get put out by the Jesus at the wedding method? As in saving the best for last?

No. All beers are available when the doors blow. IMBIBE members who purchased tickets through a presale get 1-hour early entry to the Friday night and Saturday day sessions. Some stuff blows during that first hour (Side Project, BA Abraxas, etc.).

 

I do not believe a single beer had completely blown before general entry any year. Last year BA Abraxas blew within 10-15 minutes for sure, and Side Projects fruited sour (I forget which it was) was still on for a little while.
