    Some people will say yes, some people will say no, it all depends on your own palate and how you taste beers. Personally, I have no problem making it through 12 variants without killing my sense of taste. Take your time, drink plenty of water, and try a bit of each variant before finishing any given one. The fact that there aren't any spicy variants this year will certainly help.

    I'm just overly stoked that some version of hammerhead is making a return. Double Hammerhead was still my winner from last year, and them putting it on for the Padres home-opener this year was nice as well.

    How does the Grand Prix work? I will very likely be there on the 13th and I was wondering if all the laps are available on the same day. Or is it one per day?

    Read the BPT.

    You pick the day you want to go, you pick the laps you want to drink, you show up, you exchange the paper ticket for the flight, you find a seat (or stand), you drink speedway.

    Maybe grab something from the food trucks as well.

    But yes, all of them all day for each of the 3 days.

    They also have a special selection or three on each of those days available to anybody (not just those with tickets for the Grand Prix Speedways). Last year one of those extras was the Coconut Speedway, which makes me think that you might see the Hawaiian Speedway make an unannounced appearance.

    The point of the tickets is to ensure that the Grand Prix Speedways last all three days.

    Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, yeah I didn't believe me either. Getting bored of drinking speedway...ha....as if.

    Still proxies allowed but limited to 3 total orders (so you + 2 proxy pickups). My guess is that they obviously want the free distribution proxying provides but are trying to find that sweet spot.

    What wasn't nice is when I went to observation room last night one of the beertenders was mocking me since she got to try it a couple hours prior. So I was getting her tasting notes basically stringing me along....playing with my heart....and then I got a speedway and everything became better.

    My guess is that the limit of 4 bottles per and the proxies means they made a lot of this. Or at least that's what I'm hoping...

    This "sweet spot" sounds like two cases. Since the people maxing out are doing to need one case anyway, this amounts to one extra.

    Who was that mean to you? Sounds like the one whose name begins with "Sh".

    I went last year and took my time to get through 3 laps and had a lot of water during. So if you were to chug each one and get in and out under an hour maybe but I was there for about 2 hours and was able to enjoy each one. They also passed out cards for you to rate each round of what you liked best.

    I don't like that the rules state you can't offer to proxy.
    Can it really be an advocate of beer if we can't get beer to ppl that want it?
    Am I wrong in thinking this?
    No, I possibly can't be wrong...at least I don't think so.
    Perhaps there is kinda a way around this but I really doubt it
    Right now I am drawing a blank
    Other sites would allow ppl to ask and offer
    Xingu, I know a bit off topic, but anybody tried this yet?
    Yawn, ok, time for more caffeine or something.
