Looks like this beer is being released today at HOTD but I don't know many other details. Anyone know the limit, price, distribution, etc. I'd love to buy a couple bottles if it will be available online, otherwise I'd try to trade for a few. Not sure what these beers usually go for though. Thanks for any help and information.

$15 per 12 oz bottle, 1 case limit, 150 total cases. 36 1 L bottles available, not sure on price but probably $80-100 each. Only available at the brewery.

I just got back from the HotD. 1 L bottles were $55, I was thinking of their 3L pricing before. I only picked up a couple of 12oz bottles but there was still plenty left. You should be able to trade for it easily.

Had a bottle last night at the brewery and it was flat and not that impressive flavor wise. I had it after drinking a AFTW 1978, so that didn't help it any. I'll pass on it. Don't think it's worth the price.

I had a some on draft over the summer and thought it was fantastic.

Yeah, case limit. 1 liter limit.
    $15 and $55.
Collaboration with de molen. Bottle opens without any sign of carb or any noise. like prying the cap off water.
They said it's made to be flat by design... Someone help me with why there is so much sediment then?

Flat by design? This is some serious bullshit.

Is it only available in bottles, or can you get it on draft there as well?

You should probably just save that statement to your clipboard for any future hotd releases;(
You may want to add overpriced, $15/12oz!!!!

Hair of the Dog should switch to making wine.

Not sure if it was on draft this past weekend, but it was available over the summer on the from the wood tap, I heard there was very limited amount left in kegs but I don't know when it will be back on.

I'm not really surprised to hear that the bottle is not bubbly, but I think it's more then appropriately priced, considering all barrel aged de molen I've ever seen in America was $15-20, and I'm not sure I've had a carbonated one yet or not. I've had a few different vintages of BA H&V, 666, ect. Maybe one of them was carbonated. All were fantastic.

I've got to go against the grain here and say I really enjoyed Putin out of the bottle despite being flat. I probably would have bought more if it was carbed, but it was still good enough to buy three bottles.

had it on draft over the summer and liked it.

once again, this bottle is flat. Completely ruins the beer for me. At this point, I refuse to buy any bottles from Hair of the Dog.

At first, the excuse was that "barrel aging makes it hard to predict carbonation" even though 90% of barrel aged beers that I drink are always carbonated. Not sure what they will say about this one, being that it is just a regular imperial stout that wasnt barrel aged.

PS - Adam 1978 was fantastic. not sure why it was on tap again, but man o man that beer is good

Was thinking about heading over to the tasting room before heading back down to Eugene, but the roads were such a mess after the storm, I decided against it. Now I'm kicking myself for being so lazy. Would love to be able to try the 1978 again.

Been burned twice by flat HOTD beers. No carb is a fatal flaw in my book unless it's 40% alcohol. More for the rest of you that don't care.

Stopped in on Friday and you could buy Putin bottles to drink there, but not to go - it was not on tap. It's a tasty stout, but splitting one bottle with a friend was enough for me. Enjoyed it, didn't love it.

In my experience, every De Molen Imperial Stout I've had was basically flat so it doesn't surprise me that this one is. The name however, pisses me off.

I would imagine that it is a riff on the de Molen Rasputin/Disputin/Cease & Desist name, as opposed to the Russian President (or maybe some of both).

Based on the logo, it seems the latter. I could be completely wrong, but crap like this (http://www.wweek.com/2015/10/13/putin-hair-of-the-dog-brewing/) doesn't help.
