I had a cardamom stout homebrew not too long ago, and it was really tasty. If you know what cardamom tastes like, I can see this rasing some eyebrows, but it can work well for sure.

I'd use black cardamom over green, its cheaper and less astringent.

Just had My Black Parade from Lost Abbey the other day, it also had cardamom in it, one of my favorite beers ever. So I guess I am def down for the cardamom in dark beers.

But one of the best things about @Sixpoint is you don't have to go out of your way.
Sixpoint releases great beers in reasonably priced 4 or 6 packs that are widely available.

I am going to have find a can of 3 beans so I can start setting up a Beans vertical.

    or is it a SEED?!:astonished:

So beans are in the legume family. Which cardamom is not part of. Google says its a seed.

    hmmm, freaking sixpoint.

In the interest of consistency here, coffee isn't technically a "legume" either. But we all refer to it as a bean, as its the seed (embryo) of the plant, swimming in its own fluid, and on a botanical level, very similar to morphology of an embryo.

Best to not take these things too literally, but enjoy the unique combination of "beans"

    cheers

I am excited about this release. Cardamom would pair nicely with the other 4 beans. I would like to find out if the are using green or black.
