Bad trader: beergeeksa210 *Resolved*

In the other bad trader thread on this guy it has been established this guy is a college kid who works in a beer store. Either ttp86 is joking or is having the wool pulled over his eyes.

 

Well he should still come here to explain to the rest of the community, and since he has been online maybe he will do us that favor, if not the clock ticks down. Anything @Beergeeksa210 ?

 

Seriously have you learned nothing from this experience? The guys has 2 bad trader threads goin, multiple accounts of him backing out and acting outright sketchy as hell and CLEARLY making trades in which he's trying to scam people and change bottles. And you want to rescind this thread?? This is why bad traders keep on stealing because they charm people in to believing their bullshit stories. He's a bad trader. Period.

 

Everyone calm down about this thread being deleted, I'm sure i can firmly say thats not going to happen. Now wether @Beergeeksa210 wants to come here to explain himself and possibly try to fix his rep, is up to him.

 

That we know. But the other problem which I have seen in other bad trader threads where people do end up getting their beer and don't leave appropriate negative feedback. Those threads get closed before the rest of us can chime in and educate the trader on why leaving positive feedback is a bad thing.

 

Maybe we should start a new topic about this in the trading forum, I'm all for it.

Its my understanding that he works in receiving at the beer store, so I'm quite certain he doesn't have a secretary. Just another lie.

This ones going in the "I'll believe it when I see it" column.

 

So, he pretty much doesn't even need to leave work to send it out. FedEx probably has a regular stop there and he likely has all the crap to package and ship it.

 

AND access to plenty of beer!

 

He probably is just in that "Oh Shit" moment where he realized that he has traded all of the beer away that he had gotten in trades to get other beer. After shipping off 10 packages, he still only has 6 new beers to show for all of them.

And out a couple hundred. Beer is meant to be enjoyed, and I doubt he even knows that.

Let me ask you a few serious questions.

Is this how you want all your trades to go? Starting bad trader threads to get your beer.

Do you think *good/great traders* get threads started on them in order for them to honor their part of a trade?

Is this someone you'd trade with again?
Is this someone you'd recommend to the community?
Was this a great experience for you?
Do you want others to go through the same crap?

The answer to all these questions should be a "hell no".

Just because you got your beer, doesn't mean this was a *good* or even *neutral* experience in my book. Trading is a complete package, and this trader failed on most of them.

You need to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else by doing your part in giving proper feedback. Sorry to be brunt, but sometimes the truth hurts.

Another disturbing trend here in this and other bad traders threads is a lot of the OP's don't understand why everyone is going to bat for them in the first place. Once they get their beer all is good and many ask for the thread to be removed, as if they don't care about the next guy who will get screwed. It's mind boggling to me how someone can create a thread about someone, go through months of aggravation, hear lame excuses that insult the intelligence of anyone with any common sense. and then all is forgiven once they have a tracking #.

I was contacted by @Beergeeksa210 when I posted a ISO: for Asahi Black for a Case of Zombie Dust. He went on to tell me that 1 six pack of Asahi Black was $16! The regular Asahi is only $8.99 I politely declined his offer of 1 case for 1.5 of zombie Dust.

 

I thought he was ripping you off too...until I looked it up online.

Spec's, I believe, is the owner of the store he works for. Or there is some relation between the two brands...or something. Either way, Spec's website is a good gauge of prices for beer in TX.

I don't get it either - not that I normally drink Asahi, but I sure as hell wouldn't drink a $17/6 pack of Asahi.

 

He doesn't work for Spec's, think of the other "Supetstore" in SA area?
