Hey all, lesson learned and I never said I didn't take responsibility. Just didn't understand after 43 positive trade reviews it would come to this after not responding to a guy for 2 weeks. This is why I love BA .. Everyone always has something to say, positive or negative (usually negative). I'll make sure to ship first in the future to re-establish my rep..anyone else wanna throw in their 2 sense? I'll post an ISO later, you can all bark at me there.. Thanks

And you'd like to be ignored for TWO WEEKS? Fuck that, no you wouldn't. The amount of previous trades done has nothing to do with being a questionable, at best, trade partner ONE time.

And right on cue, the last tactic traders being called out usually apply is blame the posters on the thread.

I fixed it for you. The bold part is what you should have written. Also, sorry wouldn't be a bad start either.

    Responsibility equals the below:

Yes, I received the package sent to me, on September 9th, and enjoyed the beers.
Yes, I did say on October 17th that I had everything (Trillium and Tree House) to send.
Yes, I did ignore the two follow-up messages on 10/23 and 10/27 asking about whether I shipped yet and I hadn't.
Yes, I have been making excuses and need to stop.
Yes, I deserve everything that was said on this thread.
Yes, I'm sending awesome extras to @Matthew_Reagor to make up for my past transgressions.
Yes, I'm sorry and learned my lesson.

It's Hilarious how people think that because they have a bunch of trades, they have the right to dick around and be assholes. What a clown.

Squirrels, I understand that the tone of these threads is often hostile, but really read through some of these bad trader threads. If you weren't the one called out here, would you want any situation like this to happen to you? It sucks to get called out, but it just makes it look so much worse when you act petulant.

Who the hell do you think you are?

If you set up the trade here (even if the feedback system wasn't used) you should damn well expect to get called out here. Your trade partner shouldn't have to call *you*. You should live up to your responsibilities and send the damn box you owe.

It's pretty clear that if you weren't called out publicly, you wouldn't be sending a box. That's all this community needs to know about you.

It's *only* a $30 box, but he did his job...and you didn't do yours. Your attitude speaks volumes about who you are. Regardless of whether or not you fulfill your end of the trade, you've made a lot of people's DNT lists. Mine for sure. Thanks for making MA traders bear the brunt of your idiocy.

Nobody cares how many good trades you have. It only takes one bad trade to brand you for life.

I'll make sure to delete any ISO you put up until the OP receives his box. How's that?

You really think it's ok to not respond for two weeks?

    Really?

I mean, you got yours, so screw everyone else, right?

    You're a colossal jerk.

@Todd maybe we should yank his trading privileges for a bit to drive the point home.

This is a disturbing but all too common theme in the bad trader threads. Guys with 30 or 40 trades with "A+", "Super Generous", "Amazing Trader" comments and feedback suddenly flaking out. Hard to understand really. And calling them out here in these threads just seems to turn most of them into bigger *ssholes. Moral of the story for everyone is to find a group of good traders who you've dealt with before, near the breweries you enjoy, and stick with trading with them exclusively. If you are constantly seeking out trades with guys you've never traded with before, you will eventually get screwed. Feedback on here can no longer be relied on. Hate to say it myself but that seems to be the harsh reality.

He sent a tracking number and said it should arrive on Wednesday. I'll keep this thread updated on how it arrives.

I can't imagine all the work he did to drop that off at FedEx. You should be really grateful OP that he went through all this hardship for you.

Hopefully never. Children should not be not allowed to trade beer.

@SquirrelsBrews please read through this thread again & explain how you feel like the wronged party in this debacle. IF you were on the receiving end of your bs I doubt that you'd be so tolerant of it.

You claim it's just a $30 box of beer but that $30 box of beer was more than you were willing to send until this thread was opened. That $30 box of beer was worth more than your word or reputation apparently.

What does the cost of the box have to do with anything? If someone stole $50 (shipping aint free) from you I'm sure you would just say "meh, it's only $50".

How dare he contact you on the site that your trade was set up through. The same site that you frequent almost daily but refused to respond to his messages. The same site that you posted an ISO:FT over a month after you received your box and still had not shipped his. That ISO:FT that you posted by the way, you offered the exact same beers that you said that you were having trouble getting. Why the hell would you offer more Trillium beers when you hadn't even acquired the bottles to fulfill this trade first?

And then the communication stopped and here we are.

Communication. he seemed to be fine with the delay until your communication stopped. Shit happens and life happens but there's no excuse to have gone silent for 2 weeks after you were already 6 weeks late on shipping your box.

What a fucking hero you are to have driven to the brewery that you promised to get bottles from. Here's an idea, don't make a trade unless the bottles are in your possession, or at the very least, tell your trade partner not to ship until you're able to make it to the brewery.

Again, you're a hero. How generous of you to make a stop at a brewery and not ship what you bought.

The OP seems very understanding. he was understanding enough to allow you 6 weeks to fulfill your side of the trade and even then he wasn't concerned until you went silent. He didn't even want to mention your name until you responded to this thread or answered his messages, but you didn't so you were outed.

I have to say, you seem like the most insufferable, arrogant piece of shit I've ever seen on this site. To come into this thread and play the victim as if he was fully aware of what was going on at all times is a complete joke. From what I can tell, absolutely nothing the OP said was untrue or even embellished. You're simply a terrible trader and and even worse person for not stepping up and admitting that ignoring someone's messages while sipping the beer they sent you is unacceptable.

Tracking number says it will be here Thursday by end of day. Hopefully I'll have better luck next time I try to trade for hoppy east coast beers.

I always heard that this trading thing was fun and my buddy has great partners. After reading all of the bad traders threads, it's hard to see how anyone would want to trade online.

I guess I'm just going to have to ask a lot of questions to everyone in a persons trading history before I ship again.

Actually, I'd rate him about the sixth most arrogant, insufferable piece of shite to come on this site.

The bad trades stick out like sore thumbs. There are thousands of trades that go flawlessly, bad trades are probably a very, very small % of overall trades. Sucks when it happens though.
