I agree, this was an awesome way to receive a growler. I'm considering getting a FoodSaver just for this purpose. Ok, not just, but it'd be a good reason.
I was lucky enough to be chosen for the Mornin' Delight release at Toppling Goliath this year. That beer was fukin amazeballs. I haven't had the chance to try Good Morning, but I honestly doubt it would top MD. I heard from some people who were there and bottle sharing that had a growler of GM that MD blew it away. With that, I'm a little bitter that MD isn't rated higher than GM. Maybe a little Midwestern pride too...

With world class stouts like these, I find it hard to believe that one can blow away another - it's simply going to come down to personal preference since both are uniquely excellent beers. Lucky bastard. Consensus on the comparison?

While it may be a requirement, we're just generally curious about the box. It's also nice for the sender to get recognition for putting together a quality box.
I sent a note to a FIB that is in the club and am waiting to hear back. Talking to a couple guys that went last year, the public sale happened at some point in January. The tickets will have your name on them so you'll need ID with that name to get in to cut down on resale. Unless the expand the Catador Club membership, it will be hard to get in. You have to be there in person to sign up and I imagine with all the goodies you get, the high quality products and the high demand, most people will re-up their memberships... My Dad said he'd go try to sign up for a membership since he lives in Orlando. He loves to drink craft beer and by craft beer he means Michelob Ultra! I'd keep your eyes peeled to the South Thread, I'm sure it will have good info on it. I was down there 2 years ago when it was a shitshow. Luckily, we didn't get tickets and ended up not going over. I got shut out last year and just stayed in Orlando and golfed. This year, even if I don't get a ticket, I'm still heading over to all the shares!
