    One of the open trades he has is with me where i decided to not leave feedback. He sent his box out on time but when i got it one of the bottles was broken. I sent him a message and he quickly responded that he would replace it, didnt hear back after that for awhile so i finally messaged him and asked if he shipped the replacement? he acted surprised that i didnt get it and said he would ship it again. I finally got that box and it was a different beer than we had agreed upon (De Garde Hose instead of Citra Hose) kind of annoying but wasnt the end of the world so i just decided to leave no feedback instead of bad feedback.

    Honestly, leaving no feedback is really bad. Part of the way feedback works is that everyone in the community participates. Your case sounded like neutral or negative feedback should have been left. might have prevented someone else from losing beer.

    Why not at least leave "okay" feedback with very specific comments on what happened? It wasn't a bad trade but as others have mentioned - in other threads and perhaps in this one - it's really important we start leaving accurate feedback, be it good, okay or bad. You're doing a service to the rest of the community by doing so.

    Totally true. It was one of my first trades and i didn't fully grasp the importance of the feedback system.

    I believe if the trade is still open you can go in and leave feedback still.
    Don't worry about any retaliation - that kind of behavior (him leaving you negative feedback in revenge) gets people insta-banned around here and the feedback deleted.

    It's sad when someone rips off a good international trader. The OP sent some killer beers and trusted to be sent a package back. International trades can be a pain and very expensive, so when one person takes care of their obligation the other needs to come through as well (not just here, but in every trade). I'd guess the cost to ship was 100 euro, plus all the beers is a big hit. Finding a good international user to deal with is a blessing honestly, so ripping them off is low as you can get. I mean who wouldn't want to establish a trading partnership to get Fou Foune each year?

    His Instagram is CraftbeerHawaii & TruSavage21. Not long after he did some trades he set his personal acct to private when it was a public profile.

    So far still no luck in getting a response. I did get a message from a guy who knows him saying he would try to contact him, so hopefully that works.

    I did not have contact with him personally, he never responded to any of my attempts to contact him.

    The guy who knows TruSavage21 a bit got in contact with him and sent him some text messages to wich he did respond. He sent me screenshots of this conversation with Trusavage21 today.

    Basically what TruSavage21 said to him was he had lost his password and it was attached to his college email so he can't log in anymore. He said he had sent a box full of stouts to me and that I was tripping. He ends the conversation with "whatever, I really don't care."

    It is pretty obvious he is lying about his password since he has been online a few times after I started this thread and apparently even read it. I think he is also lying about sending a box since the tracking code he gave me still says USPS is waiting for the package to be mailed, and I understood you can register a package to be sent but when you do not actually mail it you can get your money back. That would explain to me why he did give me a tracking code. I am not sure but I do not believe it is possible to actually send a package but get no registration from USPS whatsoever..

    So, I do not think I'll ever hear from him again..

    Oh yeah, once a password is lost there is no way one can get it reset either :rolling_eyes:. Sorry to hear the update, OP. But I agree in that he has no intention of making right here. Nice of the 3rd party to assist in reaching the defaulter.
