Yeah man I was a little irked that there were some peeps that opened a BA ten fidy, gave themselves full pours, and then didn't drink but half of what the poured. But whatever. Some people like sinning I guess cause I always say it's a sin to leave beer undrunk lol.
Cross posting from Locals. Impromptu LIF for serious Citra lovers. Guess how many miles I have flown so far this year. Closest guess wins, no PIR rules. The winner will have a growler heading his or her way...
Yeah we were there drankin' with the best of them. and yes I am a chubby bearded guy. that said my girlfriend is quite cute and always seems to draw just enough attention to get us nice pours of things
Dang wish I could participate in round 2, but got a lot on my plate in the real world. Perhaps round 3!
No worries. Much as we'd be happy to have you, that's the beauty of ongoing threads like this, you can continue to be a part of the group without needing to participate in every single exchange of boxes. I'll admit the FOMO is real and can make for some tough decisions sometimes, but family and real life are always more important and it's commendable that you can know your limits, and stick to them, rather than risk getting in over your head. *This goes for anyone sitting out, not just the above quoted member
I'm slightly chubby and non-bearded, but I'm OLD and grumpy and that makes up for other areas. On the plus side,I WAY out kicked my coverage on the wife side of things.........
Taking a break from Sunday chores to watch the Vikings finish off the rams and sip some coffee, courtesy of @Elkevjoe. Columbian coffee porter from JABF - Wooster Brewery. Good coffee, not a huge beer but perfect for this afternoon. Thanks Kevin!
Though targets aren't even out yet for round two, here's a content hint for my planned parcel: I just (inadvertently) braved the ridiculous Vikings crowds (the game had just let out) on my bike ride to Surly for some EXTREMELY proper glassware.
For round two, aside from @Homebrew graciously stepping up to be my sponsor, @Cuzco also said he'd back me up if needed. Nate and Dave are awesome, thanks guys.
I picked up a lot of stuff over the weekend too. I'm sure my target will be getting a few things from my little road trip.
