So I had a good ****/bad news kinda day...

A non-BA drinking buddy quit the game. Here is the haul he dumped on me:

After the fact LIF notification -- back a few weeks ago, I had gotten relatively silent, because I was trying NOT to get likes -- my objective was to get my 5000th like, which would get me "champion" status, on the same night the Mets clinched the NL. I ended up slightly off (the two likes my pennant clinching post got me were #4997 and 4998). But early the next morning I got like #5000, and will be shipping a couple of small boxes (about 120 ounces each) to the folks who gave me the two likes that got me to champion -- they were within a few minutes of each other, and both of you made it easy for me to hit wants.

Both boxes will be dropped off Monday morning.

Question for those who see them more often: is there a difference between a Speedway with silver versus black foil?

Could be wrong, but their BA beers typically have black foil. It might be all of the variants that are black foil actually

I thought barrel aged had gold foil...

The art/writing is gold, pretty sure the wrapping is black. Gold foil might be some much older vintages

 

Well got through 1-3. Again 3 out of 4 isn't bad especially when these brews are 10% + abv
