Arrowine got two cases, for what it's worth. Norm's, as well. Both did 2/per.

I've been driving this train for a while. Their brewing techniques are flawed, their price points are high and I'll triple down by saying their 'extreme'/metal schtick is dated. There is a little bit of a chicken vs the egg discussion to be had. They may never win a blind tasting... but they are packed all the time - so does that make their beer bad?

Whole Foods Fair Lakes just put a few cases of GBS out, $9.99 per, at the counter by the wine racks. No Trickery.

It's $8.99 at Wegmans, Gainseville had about 25cs, no limit.

If you're buying a bunch a buck or two adds up. Although GBS ain't one for the "cellar."

I'm still sitting on Bourbon GBS from last year. I wonder how much of a mistake that is.

It'll probably be fine, but without the spices and probably kinda flat. HW stouts (and the BA versions) are good fresh but IMO aren't high enough in ABV nor viscous/thick enough to not end up "thin and flat." They aren't hoppy to start off with, and with the average malt content, and low'ish abv factor I can't imagine any "improvement." I personally like BA sidamo the best of their brews, when it's fresh.

For MD peeps I found Alpine Nelson in bottles on the shelf at Dawson's last night. Didn't see Duet or anything else from them though. I know GF has been sending some legs of Alpine stuff around to MD but this is the first I've seen it in bottles. I'd assume other places will start seeing it soon.

I was told by the PP guys they were expecting Alpine bottles in November. Since they're at Dawson's, I assume that means we'll see bottles everywhere this week.

Found a regular GBS from last year I lost in my mess of a cellar and drank in maybe two weeks ago. It was still good, but not near as "complete" as a fresh one.

I just cracked a regular GBS and BGBS 2 days ago. Still fantastic but the barrel has faded quite a bit and the spices/ginger are not nearly as pronounced. I think the regular GBS held up better to a years age.
