Any guesses or insights as to what kind of crowd to expect? Not sure if there's anything else big going on in that neck of the woods Saturday.
Mastermind is a fave with locals, and a local fundraiser for an organization near & dear to the brewer's heart. Can only speak to that demographic, so plan accordingly...
Just got here, they estimated I'm somewhere around 300. Line is completely around the building. First people were hear at 7:15 according to one of the staff.
It took an hour and 10 minutes to get through the line (which I feel is pretty long for a cash only sale), and when I got my case (12:30) there wasn't much left from the looks of it, maybe 20 cases, and there were more than that many people still in line. However I should note everyone who was in line by the start of the sale at 11am got beer.
I'm loving second fiddle right now, my fav Vermont beer at the moment. I am lazy so I know this is out there already but figured those in this thread will know, what is the hop profile of this beer?
Sales from this release provided a $40,000 donation to the UVM Med Center's Children's Unit. Brewer Matty O's son has spent a fair amount of his young life there, so nice work, people!!
I'd estimate around 12:45ish. I got there around 12:30 and there was maybe a dozen+ people in line. About 15-20 minutes later, Matty O told me they ran out when I bumped into him in the brewery.
