    Went to school in Bellingham 10 years ago, and just moved (back) into town with the family.

    Only in Bellingham does the Safeway have La Fin du Monde on tap! God bless this place...

    Just stopped by myself the other day, and was amazed by the quality of the... of the... sorry, what was I thinking or saying. Er, ahem.... what terry said. What an awful place! Folks need to stay away!

    When they opened the new store earlier this year, they put in a growler fill station. IIRC, they're also doing "tastings" for beer, wine, and spirits at certain times as well. I've only been in a couple times, and the bottle selection has been merely typical (mostly main-line crafts), and the drafts for growler fills have also been "routine". Don't think you're allowed to wander around with a pint though. Might be time for another pass-through, ya know, for science.

    I grew up in Bliane so I pass through about once a month, always stop at E station and chuckanut

    Yeah, I grew up with him, great guy. Also Scott Gomez who was a bit older but NHL rookie of the year

    Love Bham! Regular visitor from just across the line here, thinking a weekend brewery/pub/bar tour is in the near future when 2016 arrives.
