The White Sox blew it in extra innings, and they had a chance to increase the lead to 3 games as the Twins are blowing out the Tigers. Regardless, it's turned into a FFF night. Moloko was just released. I look forward to this one every year and every batch reconfirms the fact that it is my favorite milk stout. Currently, enjoying a 20 oz. imperial pint full of goodness...

Time for #2. I've wanted to get the wife into beer for a bit and I am losing the battle. So I called in a favor with my RS guy TroyG2352 and got a Growler of Satans Bake Sale from Spring House. Mint Chocolate Stout. She said was okay. Think after the FMB and Big Gruesome growler. I am done trying. More beer for me.

After a couple of the Wild Onion Pumpkin Ales, I decided to open up the bottle of ST Pumking that I bought yesterday and swore I was going to save for something or other. The Wild Onion was a nice, drinkable pumpkin ale, nothing special though- since they're local I may buy a few sixers throughout fall to keep in the fridge. This ST Pumking though. WOW. Tastes like a pumpkin pie with a little bit of whipped cream on it- absolutely awesome and so long as I can get it for $6.99 a bottle, it will definitely be right up there with DFH Punkin as a staple of the season.

Low on cash, so decided to go with something cheap that I haven't had in a good minute. Zywiec Porter. Pretty damn good. I guess being broke ain't that bad lol.

I cant decide if this is my favorite of the beer camp pack or the oatmeal stout. Either way, the red is a super delicious brew

Yezzir. I mean obviously it's lighter (and therefore more nimble, in my opinion (and yeah, I think that's a valid descriptor)), but I think it just hit its malt-hops balance better. The bitterness has a greater impression, I think, as a result.

    But hey, I wouldn't turn down a pint of either :-) . . . unlike Devil Dancer.
