Beer related goals...

    It has been a goal of mine to sample all the regularly produced beers of the seven Trappist breweries. Yesterday I had Chimay Doree, so I'm getting closer. I've had:

    Orval Trappist Ale.
    Rochefort 6, 8, and 10.
    Westvleteren 8 and 12.
    Chimay Blue, Red, White, and Doree.
    Westmalle Dubbel and Tripel.
    Achel Trappist Extra, 8 Blond, and 8 Bruin.
    Koningshoeven Blond, Dubbel, Tripel, and Quad.

    Today I'm going to go hunting for a Koningshoeven Witte. I think I have a shot.

    The craft beer scene is slow and steady where I live. I'd say I've worked (ticked) my way through 2/3 of beers I'm interested in trying, here. I'm going to Florida this winter, making a list, and checking it twice! I plan to travel to the east and west coast in the next 2-3 years. Just planning that out should be a project and then some. Trading where I live isn't really too great of an option unless I use beers from elsewhere. I'll probably get into ordering online for the rest. Right now I'm just trying to figure out what I really like and go from there.

    To learn more about the different styles, especially traditional ones, and what differentiates them. Also to learn more beer and brewing history in general.

    I want to start putting reviews up from my notes. But I am lazy and I don't like the way I write. I may make my goal the same as @GSS's goal. Sounds like fun.

    Have at least one of every style ( at about 89 right now) .

    Otherwise my goal is to continue drinking new beer as often as I can until death. And since I'm only in my twenties I have a longggg ways to go.

    Attend more bottle shares and beer events
    Try more of these Northeastern breweries that everyone's going bonkers over!

    I don't really have any beer related goals. But I do have beer related fantasies.

    My beer goals all involve travelling, especially to Europe (drinking many of the Czech dark lagers on their home turf is the major one). As a result, my intermediate goal is to earn a comfortable enough retirement to do all that :slight_smile:.

    My first goal is to meet others in my area that enjoy beer the way I do and participate in bottle shares. It sounds like so much fun but I just don't know anyone around me that's into it as much as I am.

    Sampling a Kvass and an Happoshu, both of which are available in the greater Philadelphia are but in relatively hard to get to locations, especially if one is retricted to public transportation.

    I want to go on a legit beer road trip and hit up some giants. Treehouse, Jacks Abby, Trillium, Night Shift, Bissell, Maine Beer, then over to the Vermont legends. Just need to shit out a pile of cash
