The Locals HINTS AND HAULS THREAD

Typically it goes on sale at the brewery and whatever is left goes into distro. Two years ago I happened on two bottles, last year none, this year two (but was pretty lucky). Unfortunately it is pretty damn hard to come by.

Evidently it is releasing Saturday at the brewery

So after a good couple of days in Portland ME I decide to venture south back to Boston where I am to fly back home tomorrow morning. I hit up Trillium for a few beers then weighed my options between hitting up a brewery or two for beers and a bite. No food at Mystic which I heard is fantastic and one of the best breweries at checking ID's and ensuring all patrons are over 21 but the food was an immediate nix. I decide to hit up Night Shift which had a Panini Short Bus grilling up sandwiches....I walk in and I see a familiar face...This bearded beauty I would recognize anywhere...



That's @mklisz patiently waiting on some locals degenerate to post pr0n who was too busy entering LIF's at the time...

I ordered a flight and out of the corner of my eye...A high school couple stumbled into the background as I snapped my untapped pic....



Oh wait sorry that is @xICooRsYIx and his beautiful girlfriend whose fakes were good enough to fool the wait staff at Night Shift....As we enjoyed our beers I decided to snap a photo of some good looking locals as I was the out of towner...



And then it was decided we need to ruin the picture by taking the beauty out and adding the beast....



As we started to wind down....the waitress approached us with all of our credit cards in hand...We knew it was not last call however she must have gotten the word that we were #LFL and saw that there was more buy flying around the table back and forth than from the bar itself..We thought we were being asked to leave however she mentioned that a gentleman (she was severely mistaken) had called in to Night Shift (like a creep) and paid for all of our bar tabs.....She said he went by the name of @PA-Michigander (who introduces himself like that to a bar tender??)...Nick Wolf is an asshole and by asshole I mean one of the greatest guys I know.....He takes the time to use non-peak cellphone minutes to call in and ninja tab a fantastic group of locals.....and myself. I have a feeling he will get what he has coming to him in the near future but until then we all owe him a huge thank you. Something that was totally unnecessary and over the top generous for anyone else I have met outside of Nick..But back to the beer....

Matter of fact cheers to all you locals hand shake ticks and not yet hand shake ticks...Your time will come.

 

Here you go We went out after work today. I always tell everyone that the coolest thing in life is being a Dad, and the second coolest thing is being the "triggerman" for #TeamVegas (thanks for the kind words)

In other news....another box landed at my house, this time on my lawn, since I no longer have a porch...what a "Treat"

 

That's looks like an awesome time...and @PA-Michigander is a generous maniac!

 

Both of those points are severely understated

 

Thoroughly enjoyed my evening with the local Locals (and Drew). Handshakes, home brews, gift bottles and #datglasses (courtesy of @UcDru ) made tonight well worth the trip. I was even able to pick up a few cans of something delicious that will be headed out to 3 of you Locals not in attendance sometime early next week. Cheers boys!

 

You need to plan some business trips to Denver Drew...
