    Hailstorm Brewing Company out of Tinley Park Illinois will be canning there Prairie Madness. This time it's brewed with simcoe hops. Will be ready sometime this week. $11.00 for a 4 pack of 16oz cans. I'm excited to try this one. I am a fan of the original Prairie Madness. Anyone else enjoy this beer?

    It's decent. Can't see spending $11 on a 4 pack for it.

    Nice release of Vlad, not too crazy of a line and it moved okay. By noon there was no line and I bought a few more bottles for friends before I left. They had more than 14 beers on tap including the Vanilla and Coffee from the bottle release, and they posted after 5pm that there were still bottles to be had.

    I ended up going up there around 7 and grabbed 2 of each.

    Haven't tried either yet. How are they?

    Had the coffee last night. Great beer. Bourbon not overpowering and the coffee comes through great. Only have one more of these and kind of hope to get a couple more.

    I stopped in with a bunch of friends and we all had a great time. Most of the "special release" event beers were extremely tasty and the food trucks/live music added to the fun. Overall Hailstorm is doing a great job.

    I stopped in on Sunday, too late for the party, but enjoyed a couple of fine drafts, including the Simcoe Prairie.
    Good stuff. They like their boozy beer there.

    I left and found Vlad infused with coconut on tap at the Lemont Tap House Grill. That is a nice infusion!
    And a nice surprise since all the special anniversary releases were no longer available at the brewery.

    I also had coconut vlad on tap at the Lemont tap house grill on Saturday. Great stuff. The BA Dark Secret with raspberries was excellent as well.

    That raspberry dark secret was one of the best beers I had at fobab. It was awesome.

    Yes; surprisingly I had it twice with completely different opinions. Led off with the stout collab and then this, and liked it. Also liked the stout. A week or so later led off with Cumulus and then Prairie. Not so much, for either one. Must have been having a bad second day. Think I gave it a 3.5 on untappd.

    Not sure what their distro is like... Any hailstorm in the NW burbs? Specifically cumulus or nimbus?

    I haven't had any beers by hailstorm, but I'd like to find some. Any recommendations?

    I thought Cumulus was decent. I'm very interested in trying Nimbus if it is around $12 a four pack.
