El Segundo Brewing

Only wet hop beer I've had was from Hangar 24 and it tasted like grass clippings. Willing to try more and see whether that was just a bad experience or I just don't like them

 

I believe that was the wet hop Amalgamator ?

Whenever I think El Segundo, I automatically check to see if all my tail lights are in working order because I know some ass hole cop is going to pull me over with that fucking lame ass excuse.

Anyone else go today? That Wet Hop Mayberry is incredible. Citramongous was very interesting as well.

 

I totally agree on the Wet Hopped Mayberry; definitely the standout, IMO. Brought a growler home last night, it will be a good night.

 

Is wet hop Mayberry still on tap and growler fills?

 

King Harbor is nearby and has some solid releases as well if you are making a day trip out of it.

That was one hell of an event. My younger self is giving my older self a HELL YEAH for toasting beers with Steve Austin.

 

Definitely one of the few towns that feel "normal" in the LA area. Main Street looks like it could be in the midwest.

Deal killer is the horrible stench from the oil refineries, though.

Tremendous beer, but I miss the little tasting room they had. It felt like a college dorm rec room. New one is attractive but feels like every other place and is a bit too slick.
