Who's YOUR main drinking buddy?

If my brother isn't around, I'm pretty good company for enjoying beer.

 

Reminds me that I need to renew my quest to locate a beer named Cheeky Monkey brewed by Chaos Mountain. The local growler store had it awhile back and I really enjoyed it.

 

My twin brother. Whenever we travel together- mostly for work, we get up to all kinds of beer shenanigans. Always find the breweries and beer bars, even if we're in BF-nowhere with only 10 minutes to spare. We always save the rare bottles we get to share together. Been to some awesome spots together (Jester King, AZ Wilderness, Tahoe Mountain, FiftyFifty, Dark Lord Day), and plenty of other spots too, and always killing the night before with a brew first thing next day. Twin brother, blood brother, beer brother.

 

My drinking buddy is dutifully guarding the new cases of Born Yesterday and Pure Hoppiness. He takes his job very seriously....knows a reward is coming!

 

I think my main drinking buddy would be my father. Unfortunately he lives in CA and I do not. Luckily I get to have an excuse to visit CA quite often!

 

I do most of my drinking "alone" while talking on ham radio, so I guess I should have a picture of George Thorogood posted as my avatar.

 

My laptop. I'm a graduate student working on a few different research papers. A 4 hour writing session begins with coffee and ends with beer.

 

I am ! but hey, we all like beer in our family, except for our mom. My elder brother is a big stout fan, my younger brother is mostly into IPAs and brews with his buddies, and my dad is wasted most of the time. So it's quality versus quantity :-)

 

While at home, this bitch is my drinking buddy.

 

Myself. I can hardly stand it. I just drink more. My wife is my assistant brewmaster. I have yet to brew one she really likes. She liked Surly's Firey Hell Lager. She asked if I could brew this for her and I said "Damn Right I can" (hope I can). Going to give it a whirl when the weather turns colder and a section of my basement gets down to 35 degrees. Cheers!

 

I've been jonesing for Alpine IPAs for years and your dog gets a whole case?! That ain't right! :-)

Both got into trading not too long ago and it's all been down hill from there... or up hill, depending how you look at it...

 

My wife only likes Westbook Gose, which we can't get anymore since we moved out here. Occasionally I drink a few with friends, but most of the time, it's with Capt. Biscuit

 

He needs to chill on the beer a little.look at that beer belly.
