Try Pat holden's in Oxnard and the Bev-mo's in town. There will be more BCBS then last year. Coffee is only limited to about 30 cases for the whole tri-counties. I do now that the Ralphs in Santa Barbara Will be receiving 15 cases of BCBS and another 10 in So cal will be doing the same promotion. As for Regal and Rare In ventura county will be very limited.

The Ralphs that are considered craft centric stores will all be receiving 15 case each for a black Friday promotion.

I've heard a nasty rumor that Santa Cruz/Monterey won't be getting any BCBS bottles of anything. Anyone know one way or the other?

No props or rare for OC. LA County should be getting rare. They are focusing on metro city instead of Goose island sales.

besides BevMo, stalk Whole Foods too. constant vigilance ~ you'll need to be on your game (wherever you seek it tho').

not sure if things will be the same but last year Matagrano held a bunch for SF Beer Week (around Februrary). following the event, Whole Foods had Nilla Rye etc. [IMG]

also, there was a major mishap that i hear ran as far as Montana. the initial round of allocations directly after Black Friday had the 2013 pricing. first VRs i spotted were $21 total (that included the tax & CRV). everything else was $23 per 4pk total. not sure if the pricing mix up also played a role in the delay or if it was all intentional for product to be on the shelf during the Beer Week event. the secondary & subsequent allocations i'm told were at least $20 more per case, wholesale. good luck!

Lol Rare. If you're not trading it, then you're missing the boat.

I will be visiting family in Temecula. Sadly (for my beer cellar) I'll be leaving the city that gets tons of this stuff. I know variants will be hard to come by but any chances I can score some regular?

Anyone know what's the best spot to grab variants and normal in LA? I usually hit the O.C. stores, but I heard they wont be getting any variants this year.

There are always confusion every year when they release Bourbon County. Vanilla Rye showed up so late last year as well.

Looks like the target date for the release in SF and the Peninsula is the week of the 30th. They said it may get dropped off on the 25th but it's up in the air as of now. Wonder why they chose not to do the whole Black Friday thing, but I'm actually cool with that.
