Any details yet, what we're getting, and how much, if any?

I'm over BCBS & its variants. Would rather focus on great NW releases & leave AB-InBev er Goose Island for others.

Please, oh please, for the love of God, cannot we not have another BCBS distributor truck-chasing thread? This isn't Chicago, dude.

I don't think anyone is talking about chasing trucks, dude. I think some of us just wanna know if we'll be safe going to our nearest bottle shop or if we'll have to drive a little further.

I won't even buy Elysian anymore, and they're just a couple miles away. But I still buy BCBS when I can, like a *****. So yeah, I'd love to know where I'll be going on Black Friday. This is the one time of year when I tamp down my ABI vitriol.

There is also the non-trivial fact that AB InBev is buying up copious amounts of barrels for the BC brand, and making it harder (or at least much more costly) for everyone else (ie, the breweries we do best to support) to acquire what they need for their own offerings. Something, at least, to consider...

Fremont is pretty damn vocal about the barrel concern. I don't really feel like getting up on Black Friday to buy bottles, so I'll stick to boycotting this year out of conviction and PNW passive aggressive apathy.

You're welcome to hit the Bevmo and Elizabeth Station here in Bellingham. You will have to face off against the handful of Canadian BAs who come down every year to gobble it up, but you should be able to grab it. Sooner it's gone, the sooner the rest of us can go back to the beer store. Screw Inbev.

add me to the growing list of BAs not participating in any anti-beer, pro-consumerism bottle releases by anti-craft beer monopoly, AB-Inbev. the 'Like' button is over here on the bottom right of this post, thank you very much.

Points for and against here for me.
I've never had BCBS or any of it's variants and actually kind of want to, but I agree with those that rail against it for the reasons cited above.
    The deciding point?
Fuck Black Friday. Seriously. When my work schedule didn't involve Fridays I would gladly cover for people who had to have it off to go stand in line at ridiculously early times and get into brawls over deals with other morons.

Pretty simple for me: if I see it in my normal travels and it is at a reasonable price, then I will buy it. If not, then not.

I used to have an appreciation for the fact that they released a BA stout in 12oz bottles. 500ml isn't that much bigger, but it pushes me further into apathy territory.

Couldn't even remember if i had this beer in the past.
Looked through my reviews and i had a 12oz in 2008..was a good beer but i think i much preferred Full sails BA beers better back then according to the review.
Just shows that a bit of hype...sends many people crazy over something that is good but not that good.
Good luck with running all over the place on Black Friday.
I will toast your efforts with more regional fare!

Had 2014 BCBS Coffee variant at the Burgundian Coffee Beer fest on Saturday. The keg lasted the whole day/night surprisingly, didn't try it til like 9 PM. It is a very fine beer, but like others here, not one I'm willing to go out of my way for.

2014 coffee was actually pretty subdued on the coffee when it was fresh. 2013 was a fantastic year, and most folks that have tried 2015 already say its closer to 2013 than 2014.

The coffee was very present in the 2014 I had. Was just as good as the one bottle of 2013 I had last year. Like I said, a very fine beer that I would totally buy on the reg if it were easily available for me. As it is, I'll drink it when it's available to me.
