When to drink limited beer releases?

    I have a couple, but I'm saving them for a time yet unknown to consume. When/how do other BAs decide to have their limited releases, especially if they only bought one of each?

    Special releases are only for looking at and admiring while ur drinking a regular release

    For me it depends on the style but I usually try to set things aside for special occasions and bottle shares

    For me it is when the kids are around for the holidays. Great beers should never be consumed alone.

    Drink them whenever the hell you want. A lot of people save them for special occasions and holidays and such, which is fun. I just like enjoying good beer with good friends.

    Freshness counts, doesn't it? I'd drink it when I get it. I'm sure there are a few BA's who'd drink it on the way home.

    If it is age-able and a very special beer, then I wait for a special occasion (birthday, promotion, wedding, etc....) or when someone who would appreciate it comes over. If it isn't age-able, then enjoy it fresh!

    I have a celler of 200ish bottles. I open stuff when I feel like it. Friends got engaged... open some good shit, its friday..... open some good shit, its tuesday and I feel like "insert rare/fancy/low bottle count beer" .... open that baby up.
