    You can't lose with any of them. A ranking wouldn't be fair because the Focal and Heady were at least a few months old. The SoS was amazing and Pliny was a different beer than the rest. I also prefer the bright East Coast IPA flavors over the dankness that is Pliny. As an IPA lover though, this was euphoric! :slight_smile:

    Another damn fine day here with temps in the 60s. I got motivated to do some raking. How sweet the smell of burning leaves combined with the taste of Backwoods Bastard.

    Mondays are always so slow. :wink:

    First: a post-run recovery beer, straight from the can. This is at just over a month old, and is actually drinking beautifully. I may like it in this spot better than when fresh.

    (Although it should be noted that I'm not the biggest SIPA fan.)

    To catch up from this weekend: in addition to a fair number of terrible beers while hashing Saturday (and getting named; Yuengling was by far the best beer, FYI), I went to Beer'd Brewing's 3rd anniversary - the first anniversary I've managed to make.

    (One of several beers; this one happens to be Hobbit Juice DIPA.)

    Many of us feel that Beer'd produces the best beers in the state, certainly at the IPA/DIPA level. And no, I'm not forgetting NEBCO.

    Sunday, I had a little two-man bottle share with my friend who took care of my house while I was in Hawai'i. Liquid rewards are the best kind, I think. (He provided the middle beer.)
