    Hit Philly for a week long business trip. Tonight I started off with a Yards IPA. For dinner we had German and of course i had Andescher Doppelbock Dunkel (great beer), Hacker-Pschorr Dunkel Weisse and the nightcap is a Two Evil Geyser Gose. A great night of food, friends and beer! Oh yeah, and football go Texans!!!

    Good evening, WBAYDN gents. Now appearing in my glass is a brand new IPA from Fort George up in Astoria, OR. It's called Magnanimous IPA, and it is brewed with tons of Simcoe and Chinook hops along with Grand Fir tips. It smells like hops and Christmas. It tastes like a fine NW IPA with a big kick of spruce at the beginning. Nice stuff. Festive!

    Really nice art on the can, with the Fir King on one side and the Hop Queen on the other.

    I am enjoying this beer while listening to Ought's new album, "Sun Coming Down," and finishing off the artwork for a brand new beer label for The Bruery.

    This Stone Depth Charged Double Bastard...the coffee is there, but very subtle to me. This is still a good one; to me, it is easily the best out of the Bastard Box.
