I'm encouraged at some of the new breweries making noise in the 5 boroughs. Besides Other Half, Grimm, Finback & Singlecut who else should we be on the look out for?

Second transmitter. Just had a few of their saisons for the first time and was so satisfied. Picked up a few bottles at Astoria Bier and Cheese. Will definitely be checking their brewery out Thursday
    after OH.

Not sure if things have changed, but if they haven't, you can only sample small pours of a few beers at their place. There isn't a taproom. Alewife ain't far though.

Yea I believe it is the same. They give you samples of what they have for sale and then you buy the bottles. That's what I was told at Astoria Bier and Cheese.

I just want to grab some more bottles to share with some friends and family over thanksgiving while I chug down some BCBCS from 2012.

Not in 5 boroughs, don't forget Bacchus from upstate.

These dudes are quietly making some really nice stuff. Did a nice dry hop sour a while ago that was dope.

Don't forget Barrier just outside the 5 boroughs. I think the best all around brewery in the state. And a wide draft distribution in the city. New bottle line just opened.
Used to like Singlecut which is close to me but they have turned into an IPA focused brewery lately.
Threes makes really interesting beer too. I hope to see more Finback around.

More breweries need to offer great buffalo wings.

Rushing Duck, Plan Bee & Peekskill are upstate (or mid-state for us city folk:grinning:) as well and can't be ignored either

While not in the 5 boroughs, nor Upstate, the brewery I'm most looking out/forward to is Jeff "Chief" Oneil's Industrial Arts.

The man is a wizard with both hops and sours and I'm eagerly looking forward to what he has up his sleeve.

I seriously had no idea this was a different brewery from Greenport...
