    Your screen name (Salt-n-Beer) reminds me of something my dad said many moons ago. If he had a warm, unfinished can of beer left over from the night before the next morning he would add salt to the remaining beer. He said that it now made the beer drinkable. I have never tried it for a variety of reasons (mostly because I never leave a beer unfinished).

    Maybe there is some truth to it. He drank Ballentine, Schafer, and other PA and NJ beer. Perhaps those brews lend themselves to the practice?

    It was a little on the Boozy Side....but that Barrel:Stout ratio is completely balanced. I found it severely enjoyable.

    Flying Dog's India Pale Lager..It is no Bruery's Humulus Lager yet not Terrible either.

    Bright Citrus and Grassy nose with a touch of that vegetable earthiness. The flavor is Citric (Tangerines/Grapefruit) and Floral (Wild Violets/Hop Vine) balanced with Malt Sugars. This finishes Clean with lingering Hop Bitterness. The feel is a little heavy for a Lager. Medium bodied with aight carbonation.

    Overall: This is actually a Decent Beer. Not reaching out and grabbing higher levels of attention. Yet it's not middle of the road either. It's a beer I'd grab again and enjoy on a nice cold...autumn day :rolling_eyes:. This Brew is Worthy!
