It must be nice to live in some BFE area that has a total wine or bev mo and no one buys this shit. i remember last year being at stores at the opening and there were people there who didn't even know anything about beer but were asking the floor managers about it. as in, like soccer moms. i might just forgo BCBS and go to Buelton for some parabajava

Wise choice, everyone has multiple vintages of Bourbon County in their cellars but the first ever bottle release of parabajava, its a no brainer for me!

same. i may check out some local bevmos to pick up a 4 pack or two of BCBS and head over to Buelton and grab parabajava and enjoy some nice barrelworks brews.

That's what I found while I was in La Jolla. Happened to bike up to the Bevmo as they opened up and I got the last 2 4-packs of regular. They hid the barleywine and released a four-pack every once in a while until they ran out.

In Santa Barbara, VR was the only big variant, and as far as I know, the entire city got one case (at one store) that never hit shelves (and probably still hasn't been sold) because the store owners are holding on to them in the back. I don't know what regular VR price was, but I was charged $45 for VR from that store when I found out they had it.

I am too. I will be out of town Black Friday, so something the week afterward would work out better for me. Maybe.

Well I'm located in Fresno and not trying to put any location on blast for putting them out early so if you're near here and need the info send me a PM.

I like BCBS a lot. I really do. But there are so many good barrel aged stouts now that it's not as important to me as it once was to score some. Particularly now that they are in 500ml bottles. I will try at the Bevmo near my house but I'm not going to multiple stores as in the past and it won't be the end of the world if I don't get any.

What other stouts are you referring to? I'm like you in that I'm not going to put much effort into BCBS but I don't really know what else (more) readily available compares to it.

I just paid $12.99 & 17.99 for Reg & BW. What is everyone else paying? Seems crazy that I was paying $20-$25/4 pack last year. Oh well. Parabajava!!!

Yikes, $13 for 500ml is more than $0.75/oz. Even at $30/4 pack that's about a 25% price increase.

Classic misinformation campaign. Not falling for it. I'll be at all the usual spots before 5am next Friday.
