    Oh man I had the pleasure of visiting Noble Ale Works a couple of weeks ago. Just stopped in on a whim and their stuff blew me away -- I wish we got bottles of it up here!

    I heard a lot of bad things about last year's Christmas BOMB!, but I bought this year's anyhow to see for myself...

    Being a big fan of regular BOMB!, I have to say this one is a perfect holiday variant. I am going back to the store tomorrow to pick up a few more. Apparently, Prairie has redeemed themselves with this year's batch!

    I buy a number of their products including Red Nun, Green Can, Great Dismal Swamp Black IPA, and Norfolk Canyon Pale Ale but have not seen this Porter. I should look closer, it is now the season in which I drink more porters and brown ales. I hope it was as good as it looks.

    I like their stuff particularly the Hoppyum IPA. I had it on draft about a month ago while in OBX NC and was hooked on it right away.

    Needed something light as a supper go-with, so I picked up one of these in a mix-a-six. Kind of pretty in the glass. Aroma is a little malty, grassy, and skunky. Surprising amount of bitterness on the finish. Very refreshing.
