It is. I had it at the brewery in August and was really impressed. So glad they started canning. These are from one of the first can runs in early October, and although they're not as good as fresh drafts from the brewery, it's a small cost for our convenience and efficiency. I got this six pack at State Line in Elkton, MD.

I haven't seen any Grey Sail in Vermont, might have to make a trip South to see if I can find some. Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'll kill the rest of this four pack pretty soon. I try not to age any IPA or DIPA, too wasteful as I've barely had any of either style that can age.

    Cheers!

EH, but at $9 a bottle, no. At 3-4 maybe. Get real at $18 bucks a sixer I'd stay away big time.

Had one last night, good description. Me, I think I'm gonna try to age my last 3 because of the price, I think I want to savor this one for a while.

    Cheers!

Homebrew club tonight, had a bunch of great beers and ciders. We had a "stout day" theme for the month and someone brought a 2009 Bourbon County. Highlight of the whole night. Enormous vanilla, toffee, molasses, and bourbon notes; with balanced milk chocolate, lightly bitter roast/char, and oak spice against the sweetness. Zero booziness and super smooth sipping. Someone else also brought in a 2-3 year old Dragons Milk that was a vanilla/molasses bomb as well that I also loved. Other than that, there was a mix of other great beers like oatmeal stouts, export stouts etc; and a unique Pumpkin/spiced Belgian Dubbel. A good mix.

    Reviews:

Stillwater/AtG collab. Very nice pale lager. Good head retention from carbonation with lingering spotty lacing down the glass. Aromas and flavors of lemon zest, lime, orange peel, light apple, cracker, bread, herbal, floral, grassy, and light peppery hops. Light-moderate herbal/spicy bitterness; with a very smooth and crisp finish with light hop stickiness in the mouthfeel. Good amount of dryness from bitterness and lighter malt presence. Nice amount of flavor robustness for 4% ABV. Very clean lagering with zero off flavors or esters. Really well done all around. Nice complexity of citrusy/fruity/earthy hops and light-moderate pale maltiness. Moderately hoppy but not overdone. Really enjoyable.

Great IPA! Can dating says 9/8/15. Aromas and flavors of huge apricot, mango, melon, grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, and pine hops; with some moderate honey/toasty/bready maltiness and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Good sized pine/citrus rind bitter finish; with lasting sticky/resins on the mouthfeel with no astringency. Minimal touch of creaminess as well. Tons of juicy citrus/tropical/piney hops with sweet malt balance, but the finish is still really dry with minimal lingering sweetness. This beer is underrated as hell. Excellent all around!

Damn good Session coffee porter! Second runnings of IBB. Aromas and flavors of big dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, toasted dark bread, and light smoke/charred malts; and some light-moderate herbal/spicy hops and lightly nutty malt character. Nice bittersweet roasted finish; with a fairly medium bodied creamy, and lightly sticky/roast chalky mouthfeel. Very flavorful and robust for the 4.2%. Really no complaints at all about this, considering the ABV and all; it has plenty of really great malt and coffee complexity all around. Delicious!

Big thanks to @5EKF for this one! I ask him a question about it and in the true BA spirit, he offers it up. I get a lot of pine, resin, lemon, and some grassiness. The nose is a little more subdued than I expected, but the flavor is bigger, with the exact same flavor profile. Nicely balanced and a dry finish that I like.

Happy Wednesday BAs, it's all downhill from here! In a good way!

Just happy to be home and to be sipping on a glass of redemption after being exposed to $9.50 cans of Goose Island IPA!! :grimacing: (The best beer option at Wells Far - at least that I could find.)

Saw them about a month ago, and granted I've seen the sword a few times now and their shows are mostly the same, All Them Witches totally kicked ass!
