Coming from Cincy this year, if anyone wants to ride together and/or meet up there for a bottle share in line, let me know!

This was absolutely the case last year. In 2013, we probably met and talked, as I was in the 30's also. 2014 was crazy crowded and I didn't go at all. I was able to find other sources.

 

Ever since InBev took over GI, the regular BCBS has been easy to find in Indy. The last couple years I saw bottles sitting on shelves weeks after Black Friday. Variants that's another story. You'll need to put in work or have strong contacts for those.

 

If you don't mind I'd like to use this thread for anything Bourbon County related in Indy that is NOT regarding the official Black Friday Launch Event at the Big Red Liquors in Broad Ripple.

 

There are four official events on Black Friday. The first of course is the Big Red Broad Ripple release.

The second is at Taste Cafe/E&D on College Ave at noon (5164 N College Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46205)



After that MacNivens will be tapping all of the new Bourbon County releases and perhaps 2015 Lolita (I'm unsure of the time).

Blend Cigar Bar on 82nd is the final event and I believe that it will begin around 7pm.

Also, Fat Dan's Chicago Style Deli on College will be the first place in all of Indiana to put 2015 Bourbon County on draft. They'll be tapping a keg on "Black Wednesday". I'll post again after I know the time.

I didn't even mention Tavern on South on the 29th and The District Tap on the 30th

 

Any idea on the time for the District Tap? I'm hoping before 7 (6 month old baby can't stay up much last 7, hah!)

 

It is at 7pm and they are also tapping the very last keg of Vanilla Rye as well.

Fat Dan's Deli WEDNESDAY at 6pm ( first tapping of Bourbon County in the state )
Big Red Liquors Friday morning at 8am (package release, all variants)
Taste Cafe on College Ave at noon on Friday ( all variants plus other Goose )
Blend Cigar Bar at 2pm on Friday ( all variants )
MacNivens at 5pm on Friday ( all variants plus other Goose )

 

When you say ALL variants does that include Rare but not Prop?

 

Rare will never be on draft in Indiana. I don't even know if it's ever left Chicago.

 

does anyone know if there is any allocation going to big red in bloomington? or is it all just going to the big broad ripple release?
