My beer had that sorta toxic waste looking foam sitting atop it while it sat on the table before I threw it out. This may be a dangerous undertaking we are doing today.

I gotta say, that's pretty heroic drinking as much of that rancid My Antonia as you did! I'm a bit puzzled as to what other option I've given you - but I'm glad to see you drinking Great Return :-)

As a Genesis fan, I tried more times than I care to admit. Over the course of a few listens, I became less protective of that slab of vinyl lifted the needle and moved it to the next track. Every band has a turd I suppose ...

Just trying to do my part. I don't have it in me to do turkey's all day. I did stop by my co-op, where the other day they had 6 packs of Saranac Oktoberfest on sale for $3.50 and was going to pick one of those up for today, but they had sold out. I did however get to sample various Thanksgiving sides they were giving out; stuffing, mashed potatoes, delicata squash.
Enjoy your beers as well, the best you can anyway, you're a brave man.

Celebrating an all-ESB Saturday on a sunny, cold day in Wyoming. Starting with Full Sail ESB (which is great) followed by Foster's Premium Ale (which is very good).

Happy turkey beer day ba. I'm not participating but I am having a nice laugh at all the shit beer posts. Highlights thus far is the beer cap glassware post. Highlighting the descriptions has to be "whatever fear tastes like", and a "toxic mold" flavor. Anyway, I'm starting here. A 9.2% coffee stout bomber, cost me 5 bucks, and taste excellent,

Too true. I dig them as well, and I'm sure that song was supposed to be a joke, but like I said- some people are better at pulling that stuff off than others

Hey BA's! It's a bit after 1:30 here in still-sunny NOVA & I'm onto turkey beer #3. I feel a little bad about this one, as it'll be my second entry today from Starr Hill - which is generally a very solid brewery. This beer is so revolting, however, that it must be included:

This preposterous pumpkin Porter is memorably malicious. It smells like an entire spice rack rotted & then fell into the brew. The flavors are purely unintelligible - black pepper, clove & something that maybe once resembled cinnamon are trying feebly to infiltrate an impenetrable fortress of molded pumpkin flesh. Drinking this brew makes me long for the days when I was consuming nothing but PBR...:stuck_out_tongue:

...I might need a break after this - don't be surprised if I post something actually tasty here in the near-future.

Choke down & grimace on, my fellow advocates!

In the midst of decorating the Christmas tree while concurrently watching football. Let's just say that one side of the tree is pretty ornament heavy. While my wife focuses on box upon box of decorations, I am focused on a box full 'o Bastards. Obviously starting with the glorious base. Hope you're all having a great day. Cheers.

Come on there is at least a handful more Starr hill beers that are turkey status. They make Duclaw look like Firestone Walker.
