Good morning. Family is still assed out after the large doses of holiday heaped upon them yesterday. Glad I was able to get all that decorating and packing of shit done yesterday so I can sit on my ass and watch football today without much interference. Enjoy your Sunday. Cheers.

I know this isn't coffee in any form, but there's something about an IPA with beans and rice.
    Happy Sunday!

Sorry for your loss. My wife's side of the family is all from Michigan, so they were quite elated.

Good morning BA, happy Sunday. We got a ton of snow over here yesterday, and it was the nasty wet crap. No idea how much my city actually got. They said Howell got 16 inches total which was highest accumulation; and I know Clarkston got at least 12, and that’s closer to me; so probably more in line with what we actually had. Here’s what I have been drinking this morning:

This is a such great sour Cherry Belgian brown ale. Flavors of big tart cherries, berries, green apple, red grape, caramel, brown sugar, toasted bread, hay, straw and light pepper/leather/funk. Light-moderate fruity tartness and yeast spiciness; with an awesome balance of sweetness/tartness after the finish. Very smooth with balanced acidity and bready creaminess in the finish/mouthfeel. Absolutely delicious. Glad I got a full 4 pack, and since it is year round, will likely do so again.

Tasting incredible as always. Big flavors of pumpkin, gingerbread, nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, brown sugar, bread crust, caramel, and light-moderate herbal spice bitterness. Great spice balance/complexity with malt and pumpkin flavor; and very smooth for the ABV with a nice moderate creamy mouthfeel. I keep buying more singles every week while it is still around. Starting to mellow out nicely on the spices as usual, which makes this even better than it is fresh.

1 year old BBA Imperial Mayan Mocha. Wow! This has mellowed out beautifully. Huge flavors of milk chocolate, cocoa, coffee, dark fudge, vanilla, toffee, cinnamon, nutmeg, and smoked peppers; with moderate oak and bourbon notes after the finish. Great bittersweet balanced creamy/silky mouthfeel; with nice warming pepper heat/spice after the finish, and not overdone. Very smooth sipping as well. Really impressed with this now. I still loved this initially, but felt the barrel presence got snuffed out from the spices when fresh. Right now there is still plenty of great balanced spice/pepper presence, but with more noticeable barrel character. I’ll have to drink some of this year’s to compare, I already picked up 4, may get some more too.

This is just as fantastic as I remember the real Alpine version I had years ago. Flavors of huge grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, mango, pineapple, passion fruit, peach, citrus rind, and pine; with some light honey/bready malt balance. Very smooth finish with moderate hop stickiness and slight malt creaminess in the mouthfeel; with a great moderately dry finish. I will definitely pick this up again for the price. Can't wait for the other Alpine stuff I haven't seen yet to show up around here soon.

    Cheers, enjoy your Sunday BA

Good morning BAs. There's only one way for me to start this morning and that's with a Prairie Bomb! I'm looking out the window at all the snow from yesterday. We got 12-13 inches here. Just north of where I live got 16.5. Whew! So I need this Prairie Bomb!, and then some breakfast, then need to get outside and do a bunch of shoveling.

    Cheers all...

Morning you guys and gals. I have been up since very early and I cooked some potatoes so there will be potato skins later. I started drinking a little beer when I started digging the funky grooves from this band. Will this blast from past ever end?
