I'm sure Randy is having heart palpitations about Friday already. I hope someone has the heart to gift him some Xanax under the table.

I'm just glad that the phone calls with people asking details will stop because the calls always end in, "I know its first come first serve, but Can I just reserve some bottles because I don't want to be there early?". Afterwards its just phone calls that I can answer easily. Do you have any left? and When are you getting more?

Yeah, nobody told Waze about the Parkway and it totally fucked my shortcut to BG on Saturday.

I have been doing a lot of cutting through Squirrel Hill these past few days to enjoy BBVD on tap. The traffic seems worst around Penn/5th and intermittent through Squirrel Hill

Was there any estimate as to how many Regal Rye bottles will be available come Friday?

Maybe 1/2 of one bottle. Yeah I am curious as well. Has anyone else confirmed that other shops around town are getting any regular BCBS?

Market District is the only place that I know of where you won't have to jump through hula hoops in order to secure a bottle. It looks like Caliente is selling tickets for the opportunity to get a pour from a bottle, and Atlas Bottle Works is making you purchase a movie ticket to get one.

The difficulty level of getting BCBS in Pittsburgh is on par with trying to get Rare in every other city.

It amazes me that people have the balls to ask that question.

Well, no... It's actually not surprising at all, but still really frustrating.

Called a few places around the Cranberry area about BCBS and JRs in Monaca said they are having a great sale on Magic Hat and I could reserve some. I'm literally speechless. So theres that.

I like that assortment, especially since most are great beers to age.

I finally got to try ESC yesterday and enjoyed it. They had it on draft at Industry, which is a place I need to keep better tabs on. Had an Angel's Share as well.

Line? An hour? It will probably be longer than an hour. But fuck that noise. I'm just gonna go black friday shopping at Market District, and just happen to be in the produce/bakery area when the beer opens @ 9, swoop in with a single bigboy of Budweiser, grab my BCBS allotment and dip out before anyone knows what hit them. Bam.
    They sell beer, breh?

Sounds like my college friend's plan to winning a fight, when you're outnumbered five to one; essentially you just have to bank on punching everyone out with one punch and hope that this temporarily stuns everyone else in the group (until they get punched out themselves), one-by-one. Once you've knocked out three-in-a-row, he posited the other two would be intimidated and retreat.

So, it's really only three punches. And what I'm saying is that you plan is 100% foolproof, but delete the post before the secret gets out.
