    I believe that this particular beer is released on the Friday following Thanksgiving.

    I disagree. I've heard from almost every liquor store, they will be releasing it next week.
    Only a few are releasing it this Friday!
    Attention: Everyone, look for it next week 12/4. Don't look for it until then.

    Should be this Friday for the most part. South Lyndale as noted above for sure, Princeton's MG just knows that they're getting some quantity of some of it on Friday. A few other places have indicated that they should as well I think.

    So as far as I can tell, South Lyndale is the only one getting guaranteed coffee and barleywine, but everywhere seems to be getting regular and rare. Kind of strange that the other variants appear to be the truly rare ones.

    seems like GI takes care of their top accounts and gives them a heads up. their other accounts, well, thats about it, they are the other accounts. kind of like a "screw you, you get what you get."

    So for those places doing a later release, how early do you think you need to get there to line up? Let's say you are just looking for regular.

    Does anyone know any pricing on regular versus variants? I just bumped up my 401k so i can afford them this year :wink:

    fwiw... different market.. but posted prices in NY are...

    $10-13 for reg
    $12-16 for barleywine
    $12-18 for coffee
    $26-35 for regal rye
    $65+ For Rare

    i know two people that snagged BCBS and BCBBW in CA and they were $11-$13 each.

    I thought I heard distributors are charging around $400 a case so 60% mark up if that is to believed.
