Barrel Aged Quad and Jagermeister Spice (my favorite hard alcohol of choice) over the rocks. I'm not going to get much accomplished today at this rate.

But it's my day off...so does it really count?

My usual day off. Ordinarily I would post a breakfast beer picture before heading to the golf course. However, no golf left in the season. Also, we're short-staffed at work, so I made nursery rounds and did a circumcision. It seemed prudent to wait on the beer until after the minor surgical procedure.
Watching my wife make some desserts, drinking Double Or Nothing.

First review of the 'bones, suckas!

Pours a murky chocolate brown color. The head formation is good but its retention is not. Soap bubble-like beige head bubbles and pops out to a thin ring.

Smells of tobacco, burnt pot coffee, chocolate. A little licorice.

Taste is kind of metallic, bitter stale chocolate, coffee. Burnt malts. It's fairly hoppy/burnt for being a midwestern porter.

It feels slightly creamy, very carbonated, semi-dry finish. Medium bodied all the way through.

I bought three of these because I figured it would be good but that was a mistake. Whoops.

I have always been pretty much a head banger when it comes to music, but that song is spectacular.

Anderson Valley Blood Orange Gose. A little too sweet a little too sour, still decent tho. Cheers BA's and Happy Thanksgiving. May your beers be better than your turkey tomorrow.
