Saw this on Facebook, thought I'd post it here for those interested. $6.25/can, $25/4-pack at the Brewpub.

Was great last year. Hit distro here in Chicago as well.

    Good stuff!

This beer is killer. Just cracked one from last year and it was still fantastic! Gonna stock up this year if I can.

I hope not! It was priced as a class 2 not class 4 or 5 (whichever it is). Like a $10/4pk difference.

Yes, one of their brewers is a fan. A friend of mine knows that guy.

I paid somewhere in 24-26 dollar range a 4 pack at the brewery. There was a mix up in pricing at some places when it was distributed.

I found it for $23.50 at one place, but everywhere else I saw it was 25 or 26.

If you are going to age this, remember the past canning issues with BV. I love these guys and love their beer, but just lost another Escoffier in my cellar last week, which actually is a root cellar and rarely reaches over 60 degrees and mostly stays around 50. I still have 2 Escoffier and cans of Burial Ground and Pumpkin Tart from last year that have survived, and I hope that they continue to hold up.

No doubt, especially after the Pothole stout issues. FWIW, Vivant posted the following to Facebook regarding Escoffier & WBG:
I still have 1 WBG from last year that I'm saving for a side-by-side with this year's version. Hopefully it stays intact for a couple more weeks!

Cracked my last can of last years Burial Ground a couple weeks ago. Held up just fine.

My "cellar" = a dark closet, so I cant imagine those of you with real cellars will have issues after a year.

It's not a matter of the beer holding up, that will be just fine. It's the can that can be the problem. Somehow the beer causes too much pressure and breaks a seam in the can (not the seal at the opening) and the beer slowly leaks out.

Yes, I completely appreciate BV comments and don't fault them at all, but I love to cellar cellarable beer, so I do it even with the risks.

I lost my last Escoffier a couple months ago.:slight_frown: I did not realize that other people were having this same issue. I was really looking forward to revisiting that beer too!

I still have a 2013 Tart Side of the Moon and a 2012 Kludde... Might have to open them soon!

Wizard Burial Ground popped up at a couple places around Ann Arbor yesterday. This was one of my favorite beers from the Michigan Summer Beer Festival so I'm very excited to get some to enjoy at my leisure.

Great brew~ was lucky enough to find it last year without any problems. Was too good to cellar, i could not hold back. Looking forward to it again this year~ Did not see it in today's delivery.
